“Wonderful Stay”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Five of us stayed in Lodge 9 for a week, with some other family members in a smaller lodge. Both cabins were clean, comfortable and had beautiful views. Killin is a lovely village, we ate out most nights there and didn't have a bad meal. Colin was great at recommending some restaurants for a special occasion meal, and made us all feel welcome. The cabins are a good base for walking, cycling (Callander to Killin on the national cycle route 7 was very scenic) and exploring the area. We had 2 dogs with us and the dedicated dog walk at the back of the site, straight out onto the hillside was ideal. Would definitely recommend to others.

I stumbled upon these lodges after bailing out of my tent whilst hill walking one particularly soggy weekend recently. I turned up, damp and slightly disheveled, to be met by Colin who swiftly ushered me into a nice warm cabin which was to be mine for the night. The lodges are set amongst some really nice quiet woodland just outside Killin and are ideally placed for exploring the local Lawers hills. The cabin was comfortable, clean and tidy. The price was very reasonable and Colin was a perfect host. I'm already planning a return visit with some friends. 5 stars from me!

Gadameer We are pleased we were able to rescue your weekend during your recent trip to the Lawers range of mountains. Nothing quite as good as a warm dry bed when you have been soaked on the hills! We hope that you will come for longer next time

best wishes Jim

My friends and I booked Killin Highland Lodges for a 2 night stay in April. There were 8 of us in the Oak Log Cabin.

The service was outstanding and the pictures of the lodge do not do it enough justice. It was lovely. It was a fantastic break away.

Would recommend Killin Highland Lodges for a break for Family, couples and of course friends.

Overall the cabin was clean, comfortable and just what we needed for a break away. Would definatley return

Would, without hesitation, recommend Killin Highland Lodges to anyone looking for a tranquil, peaceful, getaway. We stayed four nights and visited an arctic wildlife park (the polar bears are amazing), Ben Nevis (have a cable ride) and Loch Katrine. Plenty of places to eat in Killin. The owners, Jim and his son Colin, are super. Nothing is too much effort and they made us feel very welcome. The cabins themselves are gorgeous and immaculately clean. The kitchen is well equipped and beds very comfortable. We stayed in the Alder cabin. Beautiful location and we were lucky enough to still have snow on the peaks.
Very, very happy. We feel rested and relaxed and will definitely be returning. Please visit.....you will not be disappointed !!
Oh and one final thing....Colin's beautiful, chocolate Labrador, Bezy, will leave you wanting one....if you haven't already !!

Just returned from a four night stay. Fantastic! Colin met us on arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay. Two families shared a four bedroomed cabin. It was spacious and well equipped, it even had a dish washer! The location is excellent for exploring on bike or foot, plenty of munros to climb.

Fabulous. 2 families staying in the Oak Lodge. This was exactly what was needed for us. Relaxing, cosy and equiped with everything we needed. We were celebrating a late Christmas (February) and the staff put up a Christmas tree for us..so kind. We have booked up again for next year
