“Wonderful, relaxing week in a beautiful place”
Reviewed April 23, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

I travelled with two friends looking for a peaceful week away. Because it was a "working" holiday--two writers, one painter--we spent quite a lot of our time inside the cottage, and it was the perfect location for our retreat! It is perfectly located for short rambles around the village or down to Loch Tay, and also comfortable and homey enough for us to feel wonderfully relaxed on the days we spent inside working. The upper floor has lovely views and gets a lot of natural light. The bedrooms are lovely, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make ourselves at home (it's lovely to have a dishwasher on a holiday!).

“Perfect Getaway”
Reviewed March 3, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We were looking to get away for a few days and we made the perfect choice with Barn Cottage.

The cottage was very cosy and welcoming with everything that we could have needed for our time away. The location of the cottage is perfect with it being well within walking distance of the village but just out of the way enough for some peace and quiet.

The surronding area is stunning with the Falls of Dochart a very short walk away and Loch Tay itself is located close by. Not too far from the cottage in Killin there was a very convenient Co-op which we found very handy for getting food an other bits and bobs.

We can honestly say that it has been one of the best holidays that we have ever had and anyone looking to stay there will not be dissapointed.

Many thanks.

“"great family New Year break"”
Reviewed January 8, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We had a lovely 4 night stay here over new year and so close to the falls of dockhart which had their annual new year fireworks! The cottage had everything we needed and my 2 1/2 year old loved it too. Plenty dvds and necessities provided and the hot water bottles of the bed were welcomed as it was cold although the heating soon warmed the place up.

“Delightful place”
Reviewed December 7, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Barn cottage is fantastic. Ideally located in a quiet road a few minutes walk from the town. It had amazing views of the river and a beautiful little stream running past the double bedroom window. It's really tastefully decorated and the owners have clearly paid a lot of attention to detail. We will definitely return.

“A Fantastic and well equipped retreat”
Reviewed November 26, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We visited this beautifully presented barn conversion with friends in mid November. Despite the outside temperature being a little on the chilly side the cottage was soon heated to a very agreeable temperature. The vestibule had underfloor heating that served as a very good buffer between the outside and the main body of the building. It was also great to be able to dry coats and boots in this area. The cottage is very well equipped with lots of entertainment in the form of DVDs, books, etc. A good WiFi connection is provided. The two bedrooms and the bathroom/ shower are on the ground floor with a spacious, light and airy living area/ kitchen upstairs. The kitchen has all mod-cons, washing machine, fridge, dishwasher etc. The living area is very comfortable with plenty of soft furnishing, a veritable home from home!
The cottage is very close to the Falls of Dochart and the local Inn is virtually on the doorstep but far enough away not to be troubled by any noise or car parking.
The cottage is easy to find, well equipped and in a beautiful location. We would recommend this property unreservedly. Turn up and relax!
