The river widens just as it approaches the quaint village of Killin and splashes over a set of "Falls" before heading into Loch Tay. It is for sure a picturesque setting, but unless you happen to be passing through, not worth diverting your journey there. You can walk out on the rocks, and in the summer it is certainly safe for kids as the river is not raging. Fine pub with lodging with a nice view of the Falls.
