We stayed here during a wet and cold week in August with a toddler, perfect for her and us, lots of space, well catered and furnished cottage and very dog friendly. Loved the welcome pack and the little extra's which had been so well thought out. Can't fault the cottage or our stay at all, even with grim weather! Location wise its excellent for walking but you do need to be prepared to drive to get to a range of places. The cottage has free wi-fi but very limited phone signal. A range of DVD's and games are provided as well as many leaflets for visiting nearby. We will definitely be back :)

We loved the appearance of the white washed cottage in its secluded location with its own garden . It was great to see red squirrels playing with ducks from the nearby duckpond in the gardens of the cottages. The cotthage was well kitted out and had we stayed in colder months I expect the the fire and hearth would be very cosy. There was a very pleasant welcome pack waiting for us on our arrival and overall our stay was very relaxing which wasexactly what we wanted.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 19 month old son and given that it was so dog friendly we brought out dog along too.
We all had a fantastic time. The enclosed garden was great for our son and dog.
The cottage itself was lovely and had plenty of room. The power shower was great, as was the log burning stove in the evenings. Things like the electric blankets were so handy given it was still a bit chilly when we went.
The surrounding area was beautiful and had plenty of walks and areas of exploration. Our son has never slept so well!
Would definately return.

we spent a lovely long weekend with friends in the cottage, we had our dogs with us, the cottage is very dog friendly with a fenced in garden and even has a dogie welcome pack. the cottage is a must if you want to get away from everything for a wee while, lovely walks and scenery. there was everything in the cottage you could ask for, well decorated throughout and the fire was amazing. we will be recommending it to others and will be back again.
thank you.
