Can't wait to return.
Had an amazing few days, wished we'd book to stay longer. Sandie and Dave went way beyond the call of duty to make our stay possible. (Mess up with rental car, wouldn't of got there without their help)
This place offers everything you'd need from a holiday rental and is in beautiful surroundings. Can't fault the place, location and you get much more hospitality from owners than could be expected. We really can't rate this place highly enough.
Only down side was that the dates weren't up on holiday lettings site for us to rebook for a longer stay, for next year, before we left.

“Amazing holiday”

This was a perfect self catering holiday. Dave and Sandie (owners) were more than helpful, and their warm, friendly welcome got our holiday off to the perfect start.

Location: Beautiful, really amazing first impressions as you drive down a short track through the wilderness, you really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, though its close enough to any shops, pubs, restaurants (by car) to be a very practical place to stay. Incredibly quiet surroundings and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great Scottish nature.

Accommodation: First class, great decor and furnishings, really high quality. We stayed in winter so had plenty of time to enjoy the log fire, which had a full basket of logs waiting for us on arrival, nice touch!

We couldn't recommend this place highly enough for all the reasons stated above (plus more!) Will definitely be back.

“This is our third stay here”
Reviewed December 1, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Had a great few days at Blinkbonnie once more. This is our third time here Made trips to Oban Fortingall and down the quiet side of Loch Tay to Kenmore. Spectacular scenery. Had amazing sunny days for the time of year. Will definitely back when it is time to recharge the batteries again. We love the peace and quiet and will definitely want to return. Thanks to S. & D. for having us back. Lovely clean, well equipped cottage.

“Perfect Getaway”

After a very long drive, we arrived to find a perfect cottage in a stunning location. Blinkbonnie cottage was just like home from home (the wood burner was a very cosy addition at night). The location is just perfect to just stay close and enjoy the local area or to travel further afield if you so wish. The owners Dave and Sandie were also perfect hosts as well, only a phone call away if you needed anything, from car parking in Edinburgh to checking for things we'd left behind. This would most definitely be a place we would stay at again and would highly recommend it to anyone else who was thinking of staying there to. Thanks to Dave and Sandie for letting us share your little bit of Scotland.

After a 10 hour trip the welcome and cottage were as other reviewers have described.
A lovely clean well looked after cottage in an excellent location with an abundance of wild life,We saw from the cottage deer, birds of prey, herons, woodpecker, lots of small birds, rabbits and not forgetting the ducks! we were lucky to have only one wet day in two weeks,So after cycle trips, kayaking, white water rafting, walking up Ben Nevis the cottage was always a relaxing place to return to with super comfortable beds.Would highly recommend Blinkbonniie cottage and would definitely stay there again.

“Idyllic, everything just so right !”

Dave and Sandie made us so welcome, and the cottage was absolutely superb, it had all the coveniences of home including wi-fi, but it also came with your own deer wandering around !
It was really that good, easy to get to the local eateries as well, if you didn't fancy cooking, which we did a lot of the time ! It is located in some of the nicest scenary and its not too far to travel to the big cities if you want.
But one thing you must do, weather permitting, is to get Dave to take you out on the Loch in his boat ! Its amazing, heartily reccomend if you want a nice chillout.

This is a great cottage, and everything in it, is of the quality you would want in your own home. The bed and chairs are very comfortable, which I really appreciated. Blinkbonnie Cottage is situated in an idyllic place. Here is where you can forget about all the stresses of your day to day life. There are forest tracks to walk or like my husband did, use one of the bikes provided and explore the cycle paths, away from the road. If you are like me, there are plenty of birds to watch in the garden as well as the ducks coming in from the small lake or the rabbits. You can also see deer pass the house. It is a place of peace and quiet (apart from bird song). Further afield there are lovely villages to explore and we enjoyed some lovely meals in the hotels and pubs. The owners Dave and Sandie are a lovely couple, and close at hand if you need anything.
We just hope that other cottages we stay in well be of this quality.
