“Memorable stay with family”
Reviewed November 4, 2013 for a stay in November 2013

Long weekend for large family group to celebrate 40th wedding anniversary of in-laws. What can I say Morenish House ticked every box. Alistair the owner and John the caretaker were very helpful. The house itself was ideally suited for large family group of all ages and the views fabulous. The HUB area was perfect for our celebrations and the wood burner on created a real country house feel. Ample space for all to chill out in and the games room was well used. Wonderful memories thank you.

“A fabulous place to stay for all ages, to both relax and party in.”
Reviewed September 25, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my Mum and Dads 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was a superb setting with something for everyone in the family (we have an age range from 4 to 81) from the childrens playroom, to the games area and beautiful walks down to the Loch. The sun was shining and watching the colours change over the loch was magical, a very special place. The prompt and friendly service from Alistair was great when booking the house, and we appreciated John popping in briefly while we were there just to make sure everything was ok. All in all a top weekend!!

“Relaxing & comfortable stay”
Reviewed August 11, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We stayed as a group of friends with children of all ages. The house had lots of space and was relaxed enough for us to kick back, enjoy the sunshine and catch up.

The kids especially enjoyed running about the house and playing with the shop in the playroom.

The caretaker was very helpful and the only slight regret was that it was so sunny we didnt get to use the fire!

Would recommend for groups who are looking for a comfy house with lots of space to relax.

“Magical, relaxing Highland holiday”
Reviewed August 1, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We stayed here as part of a gathering of extended family and it was absolutely super for everyone from the 2 year old to the 75 year olds. It's a big, rambling property with lots of sitting rooms, games rooms and bathrooms providing quiet retreats as well as gathering areas. It coped both with some fabulously warm and sunny days (there's a bbq provided and a big lawn and seating) and wet days (it's very well provided with toys for all ages, and games including billiards, table tennis and badminton.

We made toast on the Aga, watched the resident osprey family in their nearby nest, put our kayak into the loch and paddled out to old crannog sites, and spent a lot of time just chilling out and talking.

Morenish House is nicely decorated very welcoming. It's not so smart that you feel you can't relax. Alistair Saddler the owner was highly helpful, even turning up in person to fix the broadband at one point. I can really highly recommend this as a venue for an extended group.

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful location”

Enjoyed a brilliant 2 night stay here, Alistair the owner went out of his way before and after the stay to help us out. The property has lovely big communal areas for a big get together and beautiful location by the loch, one tiny minus point of it being very chilly when we arrive but once we got the heating sorted and the wood stove's on it was brilliant! Would recommend it to families and all ages for a relaxing escape!
