An Amazing Stay

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jun 12, 2015
Really enjoyed my stay in one of the Domes and would highly recommend anyone to visit. Well kept grounds and really high quality facilities with pleasant staff. Perfect for a weekend of camping without the hassle of tending to a tent and sleeping on the ground.

We had two weeks at the Mill House and could not speak highly enough of the facility. The 4 bedroom house has breath taking views of Loch Tay and even has the burn running down into the Loch with the waterfall right there too. The setting is perfect and the house itself is even better. It has all you could ask for and more, fully equipped kitchen with all you need, ensuite bedrooms with either double or single beds, huge lounge area with satellite TV, books and games console for those rainy days that are sure to occur! It is a perfect retreat and the area itself is nice too, with plenty to see and do in the immediate surroundings, with the fishing or boats down at the Loch, Frisbee golf, hiking, then the town of Killin is less than 10 minutes away if you need a food shop or fancy a change of scenery. Highly recommend it, was a fantastic stay!

Accommodation (woodland cabins) was very basic 370 for a weekend then have to pay for logs, electric and towels.
Bad signal on TV and basically no wifi after paying extra for it ! A blind broken, stained sheets and hanging off toilet cistern leaking. And no complimentary soap or tea or coffee especially after a long journey to get there !
2 good things about it was the boat house food which was great and the log burner that's it! Left one day early! A hell of a lot of money for what it is !

as always, the view is stunning looking out over the loch and into the hills beyond, ideal spot for touring, fishing, sailing, walking or just relaxing, after all these activities you can relax in the bistro with a drink and a meal at very reasonable prices. We loved it!!. thanks'

We visited (5th-7th June) as a large group of families and were split between basic and premium wigwams. Basic wigwams didn't have shower or toilet as the premium ones did but still had a full size fridge, flat screen tv, toaster, kettle and microwave. All you need given the proximity of the new toilet and shower block – 30s walk. Communal kitchen and lounge area complete with wood burning stove proved to be the perfect venue for watching The Champions' League Final on the Saturday night! Kids all loved it despite it being very wet on the Saturday. Very friendly and everyone really friendly from start to finish. Would highly recommend and there's every chance we'll be back again next year.
