A character-full venue with a character-full landlord and a fantastic carvery. Super selection of meats, cooked in various ways, some traditional, others more interesting. Great roast potatoes and veggie selection. Only thing that could be improved is dessert presentation, and availability of hot desserts

We visit the Old Flax Mill twice a year on a Munro Bagging trip to Crianlarick/Killin each year. There is a group of ~30 people and in the many years we have visited we have never been disappointed - this is one of the highlights of our trip! The food is well cooked and extremely tasty and there is always so many options to choose from, or try a bit of everything. I would highly reccommend visiting on a carvery night!

This venue was advised by the owners of the B&B in Killin.

What a perfect place to have a scrumptious meal, real value for money.

TIP Read the signs on bar and on the walls

We had a wonderful sunday lunch last week. Great choice of meats for the typical sunday carvery: pork loin, two types of beef, chicken, roasted ham,etc all with a large choice of vegetables, mash, boiled and roast potatoes, neeps and sauces. And the best was yet to come..a great choice of homemade and fresh desserts, both cranachan and white chocolate cheesecake were amazing..definitely the best way to spend time on Sundays!

Very friendly owner, not overly chatty but she was very welcoming. We arrived mid afternoon and it was empty, but were reassured that lunchtime had been busy. My husband and I both ordered the home made leek and potato soup, followed by the fish, chips and peas - it was very tasty and fresh. The decor could do with a little freshening up, but on the whole it was really quite a pleasant visit
