“Lovely lunch with beautiful view”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We stopped by here on Saturday after a camping trip on the lochs.
After climbing around the Falls of Dochart, we were considerably hungry.
With a few places to pick from, and not much idea of where was best, we chose the Inn on a whim.
I opted for a cheese burger, while my partner had the fish and chips.
Both dishes were very tasty and fresh. I have to say I wish I had chose the fish, as it came with lovely big home made chips!
No complaints with the food at all, although the vinegar we were given was very 'bitty' so we avoided that.
We sat outside in the sun, which we would recommend, as we had a lovely view of the hills and the falls.

“Better than average food”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Dark moody interior. Falls outside are great. Hot day so ate outside on pavement tables. Real ale was well presented and fresh. Staff professional and pleasant. Food good. Steak, mussels, sea bass. Desserts ok

“Lovely setting but a little pricey”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

We stopped at this pub for a spot of lunch enroute from Inverness to Loch Lomond. The setting of the falls was lovely, the temperature was around 28 so we decided to sit outside and enjoy this rare day. I ordered 2 sandwiches from the lite bites section of the menu. The only special they had on the blackboard was soup. A pint of lager and a bottle of Crabbies and it came to 20p short of £24 .......wow. the foid arrived and the presentation was lovely. I had beef with mustard mayonnaise very nice but not what I expected for £8.50, my partner had smoked salmon which she said was very nice. Both came with a very small serving of skinny fries and a bit of lettuce with dressing. Nice but a little expensive for a lunchtime sandwich!

“Good pub food and beer”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

Some very nice beer in here, pity we couldn't stay for more than one. Very good pub food, if a little pricey. Good speedy service, friendly staff and a cosy pub with lots of character right next to the falls. A good spot to stop for lunch if you are passing through the area.

“Yummy!”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Visited The Falls of Dochart Inn en route to Oban/Mull. We stayed in the Inn for one night and must say we were very impressed. The restaurant has a lovely cosy feel with an open fire and also an outside area with amazing views of the Falls. The food was hot, tasty and service was quick. We had the burger and chips and the chicken with potato. Breakfast the next morning was just what we wanted to set us up for the rest of our trip - a choice of breakfast products and efficient service. Can't fault the place, will definitely be back!
