Loch Lomond Holiday Park
Certificate of Excellence

We stayed in the Inveruglas Lodge from Monday May 27th to Friday May 31st. The lodge itself was wonderful. It was very spacious, in fact we probably had the biggest bedrooms that we have ever had in a lodge. It was also very clean, plenty of amenities and the view from the patio was fabulous.

The location was right on the banks of Loch Lomond. The park had a play are which was great for my children and a little beach onto the loch which was idyllic. My boys (big and little) spent many and hour stone skimming. As well as the outdoor areas, there is an indoor lounge with a pool table and sky TV. A little trip in here all became part of our daily routine.

As the park is on the A82, it is an ideal location to get out and about. Both the west and north highlands are easily reached. The only downside was that you had to drive all the way round the bottom of the loch to get to the other side! On the other side of the loch, the Queen Elizabeth Forest park is well worth a trip. The nature is great.

All in all, highly recommendable for families and nature lovers all round.

We stayed in one of the Island Lodges and it was lovely. The kitchen was well equiped with everything you need including a washing machine and dishwasher. The scenery is spectacular and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I took a travel cot with us which fit into the bedrooms no problem but my daughter would not go to sleep in it so we got a cot side from reception (free of charge) and the baby slept like a log. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the bed linen looked brand new as did the towels (nice and fluffy), I can really see why they got a 4 star lodge rating. We bought fishing nets and ice-cream from the shop and the prices were really good £1.25 for a fishing net, so you were not getting ripped off. Saw some lovely sunrises and some interesting wildlife our particular highlight was the Ewe and 2 lambs outside of the lodge one morning. I would definatley go back and have been recommending it to everyone I have spoken too. Great accomodation, lovely people, fabulous location!! What more could you want?!

We stayed in the Clan Lodge at the beginning of the Easter break, very pleased, well equipped, kitchen with washer/dryer and dishwasher! Family bathroom with whirlpool bath and sauna, en-suite in the master bedroom, beds comfy and inviting, living room also comfortable and the view from the patio was exquisite, even a little welcome pack of tea and coffee, just a short walk to the loch side. As a family we would defiantly return, an excellent chance to get away from it all. Also the staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Location, excellent, very clean lodges and helpful staff.

Only downside is the lack/quality of on site facilities when compared to other parks of this type we have visited.

Very relaxing break though - thanks !

Just returned from a lovely 3 nights stay....received a lovely warm welcome and shown to our Log Cabin ~(Ben Lomond), which had lovely views over the Loch. The Cabin was very well equipped, and considering it is February, it was lovely and warm so much so we had to turn the heating off !!
Would definately recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return.
We were advised that the Ardlui Hotel along the road do a "free" pick up and drop of service for those having a meal in the restaurant, we did not take advantage of this service, but did have a lovely meal which I would highly recommend !!

We rented the island lodge at the Loch Lomond holiday park from 24-28 September. The lodge itself was fantastic and was situated with beautiful views over the Loch. The lodge was equiped with everything you could need. There were 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with spa bath and sauna and another seperate toilet. The kitchen had everything from a microwave to a dishwasher. The lodge was lovely and cosy and was so peaceful. We hired the pet friendly lodge and you couldnt tell there had been pets in before you as the place was spotless. You have to pay for the electricity but its not that expensive. I think was used about £15 for the whole time we were there and that was having the heating on a lot and using the spa and sauna on several occasions. There was actually credit in the meter when we left. You really need a car for where the park is situation but there's lots of places nearby to visit. We also went on a boat trip from nearby Tarbert which was really nice. The park itself is lovely a quite so if you are looking for somewhere to go and relax then this is the place to go. We will certainly be booking to come back here again!
