Quick and friendly service. If you arrive before 6 in the evening there is a three tapas deal. There was plenty of choice. Two of us therefore shared six dishes. All the food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. We chose to have "rustica" bread with the meal which was also delicious, and a sweet was not necessary. We drank beer with the meal which was good and served at the right cool temperature. Even at six in the evening there was a buzz in the restaurant, plenty of diners and a nice atmosphere. The bathroom facilities also deserve a mention - stylish and very clean. After the meal we walked along the shoreline amid beautiful scenery. A lovely romantic evening to remember.

I can only praise La Barca from the minute you step in the door til you leave!! The service is spot on and the food is to die for and very reasonably priced!!! We weren't sure that we had bought enough to fill us - but the portions are plenty!! perfectly made and presented!!

It alway seems busy - so I'd book in advance so not to be dissapointed!!

After being burned with small tapas portions and average food, I was a little sceptical at visiting here. I shouldn't have worried, where else can you have a 3 tapas lunch menu for £9.95 and then not want dessert?!

Quick and friendly service, good quality food with healthy portions for tapas, relaxed atmosphere - it hit the spot with me.

Looking forward to a return, and I might have to try the desserts this time.

decided to have dinner here at the weekend with my other half the food was so good that the final bill seemed like good value for money. sangria was so good i got two jugs and shared 6 tapas dishes loved the chorizo and the prawns. their was a mix up with one of our dishes so the waiter quickly got what we wanted out to us free of charge so i was more than happy to tip generously highly recommend this restaurant i would book though before hand as its a popular restraunt now and can be busy at weekends i could only see two tables left when i was in at half eight and they were quickly taken .

This restaurant really knows the art of Tapas. The service was impeccable, the waiter friendly and warm. The choice of dishes was great and we could have just worked our way down the menu there was nothing on there we wouldn't have eaten. Portions were ample for tapas and very tasty. A great find.
