Absolutely loved this place - not only a beautiful building but Cat and Tobby (and Teigan) made us feel so so welcome it actually felt like we were staying with friends. A wonderful room, a good night's sleep, an amazing breakfast - and watching TV in our PJs in the guest lounge - fabulous!!! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend - and can't wait to go back...

Room Tip: Recommend the Oyster Catcher

Having read tripadvisor reviews, booked no.20 with high expectations...and it did not disappoint. Staying with Cat and Tobby is like visiting old friends...the welcome is warm, as are the freshly home-baked scones, by the log fire, on arrival...The Oyster Catcher room is gorgeous...and the breakfast, a wonderful Scottish feast...first class attention to detail...absolutely perfect...thank you and keep up the fantastic work...

We stayed here for two nights for our friends wedding and had a perfect stay. The hosts, Cat and Tobby are lovely and take great care of you. The Food was delicious and we didn't want for anything. The B&B is wonderfully presented and is located on the waterfront with exceptional views, central Helensburgh is just a short walk away. You won't be disappointed !

We stayed the night after our wedding with Catriona, Tobby and Tiegan and loved every second of it. We had the "curlew" right at the top of the house and the view was wonderful. Catriona obviously has an eye for home decoration and the whole house is elegant modern with some lovely homely touches. After a great nights sleep the breakfast is a menu of classics. My lovely wife had the porridge followed by scrambled eggs, I tested both and we agreed they were fantastic. I chose the full Scottish with poached eggs and I wasn't disappointed either, all freshly cooked and piping hot. The price of the rooms for the quality is right on the price point probably even leaning to the bargain side. A great starting point for an adventure in Scotland, 30 mins from the airport and right on the doorstep of loch Lomond and the trossachs (10 mins away). There is a lovely welcome on arrival with fresh homemade scones. Catriona and tobby have a great attitude and both seem to enjoy a bit of banter and a blether.
All in all we had a super night and great value, thank you guys.

Really late posting this review, so apologies, but quite the most wonderful experience my partner and I have had in ages. The hosts, Toby and Cat, are exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms and furnishings were absolutely top of the range. Helensburgh is fascinating in itself (check out Hill House!) and ideally situated for exploring Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. No. 20 is situated about one minute's walk from Craigendoran Station, so if you you're commuting into Glasgow or beyond (Edinburgh for example), it's perfect.
Really fabulous experience, can't recommend it highly enough, and would love to go back.

We stayed here for one night for our 2nd wedding anniversary and as a base to use for exploring the area. This is basically the nicest B&B we have ever been to. The décor is beautiful throughout, Catriona and Toby are so amazingly friendly and nice, and we loved staying with them and meeting their daughter. We loved the little touches like the tea and handmade scones next to the fire, and the window seat in our room that you could sit on and look out over the water. The views were superb! We felt wonderfully relaxed and looked after from the moment we arrived and can't wait to return. The breakfast was so tasty and filling too, and the house itself is a lovely old building full of charm and character. I think we want to have a night in every room, just to fully experience the whole place! The temperature was just perfect, and the bathroom was very luxurious. Every little detail was thought of, such as fresh flowers in the room and a really comfy bed. We felt really at home and would recommend the room on the top floor for the amazing views.. I think it was called the "curlew" room. We sat in the window seat and watched the sunset and the lights come out along the water... bliss! It is a great base for exploring the Trossachs too. I hope they are able to keep the price as reasonable as it is, as it was a good bargain, just right. In short, everything was perfect, a beautiful boutiquey place with wonderful hosts.

Room Tip: We loved the views from the room at the very top of the house, the "curlew" I think it was...
