“With a bit of tweaking, could be perfect.”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

We ate here over a busy weekend and it was fairly obvious from staff that they were getting tired. The place was full and staff seemed to be overlapping, rather than dealing with their own tables. Consequently, we didn't know who we were dealing with....this guy or that girl!
They were all working hard but it was just a bit of a shambles.
Food however was tasty and good value for what it was. I would eat here again.
The day was lovely and the view over the Clyde was great.

“Long wait”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Ordered a meal for myself my wife and 6 year old daughter. No warning of any delay given by the staff. After 40 minutes the good came with no sauces or cutlery as we had to ask for them. My daughter also had a desert with her meal, after editing 20 minutes after the mains I had to ask where her desert was. The staff were oblivious to any delay. Although they said sorry there was no offer of recompense or even a word from the manager. Not many people there were eating and we saw another table where only half of them received there food leaving the other half waiting. In short if you do go prepare for a long wait and little service

“Typical Pub Grub”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Visited on a Thursday but got a table without booking.
It's a typical pub-type menu ("Hunter's Chicken") but there's a wide choice. Service is fair and prices are very reasonable. Good views of the River Clyde if you get a window seat.
