We had dinner in this pub on a rainy evening in April. The atmosphere was warm and the staff very friendly. The restaurant is refurbished, but I find it a little tasteless. We had a salad and fish and chips. Both dishes were OK but nothing more. I expected a little bit more after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor.

Everything about the Drymen Inn is first class. I would find it difficult to rate whether the staff or the food were the best, as each are exceptional. You are made to feel welcome the minuet you walk in the door, nothing is too much trouble and staff are always attentive without being overbearing. The daily specials are always interesting but if you are popping in the Mussels and Haddock with hand cut chips are hard to beat. Simply the best!

We were staying in the village and wanted an evening meal. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. Restaurant refurbished in a tasteful way. We called in in on spec. The waitress was very friendly and made time for us. She suggested we might like to sit in a booth. ( there were two of us and the booths would obviously sit more, but this wasn't a problem) my wife hade the not smoked chicken salad and said it was great. I had home made pork and beef burger with chilli. This was served on a brioche roll with chips and coleslaw. It was heavenly. I also had an apple crumble pie with ice cream. this was a generous individual portion. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area

Traditional Inn beautifully refurbished in the heart of the village. We called in for dinner after walking the first part of The West Highland Way and found exactly what we wanted...friendly family run business with fantastic food and a warm & relaxed atmosphere. The hot smoked salmon salad was delicious with a good helping of fish and a choice of dressing. Very good value. We will definitely be back!

Visited the Drymen Inn after a local recommendation and I'm glad we did as the last visit to Drymen on a Winter Sat night wasn't as good as this. We didn't book and realized that we should have booked. It was busy but the staff were very accommodating and found us a table after a short wait. The menu had a good selection and the interior of the bar/restaurant is very nice.
