“Okay, nothing more”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2013

The sweet potato soup was the nicest part of the meal, I'm afraid the rest was not memorable.
The restaurant was very quiet the night we visited so lacked much atmosphere. There seemed to be other venues in Drymen which were much busier

“Smashing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

Stayed at the hotel recently, we had a smashing time, breakfast and dinner excellent, in fact the breakfast was better than the one's we ate recently in a five star hotel in Dublin! Rooms were adequate and very clean, staff were excellent. We will definitely be back sometime in the new year.

“Lovely people but poor food and draught beer”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

We spent eight days walking the West Highland Way. This was, by far, the worst establishment for food and draught beer. Frankly, it was embarrassing. Whoever was in the kitchen must have been pretty clueless. Despite the lovely people in the bar and front of house, would never return.

“Great service and excellent food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

Dropped in here as everywhere else seemed to be full and feared the empty restaurant meant locals avoided it - however, they had only two tables unreserved (half of the place was booked for a birthday party) so we were lucky to get one. Food and service was impeccable. Good prices and delicious food, creatively presented; staff friendly without being too pushy. They didn't even blink at the wine glass I accidentally knocked over and smashed but cleared up with a smile and brought me another half glass..will definitely visit again!
