Everything, as already described in my review, hard to further on from what I have already said, totally impressed with all aspects of the place.

Lovely location, really friendly staff and excellent food.
Its no wonder this place is an award winner.
Enough said!

We ate here twice whilst stopping in a B&B across the road. On both nights both the bar and the restaurant were very busy and service was a little slow on the second night.
The food, though, was good and well presented, whether it was the hot and spicy pizza, the mince & tatties or the potato & salmon salad.
There is good beer available and a fine selection of single malt whiskies.
Both our meals (with drinks) came in at under £40.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable T.Vin room large and well received. Would rate the room a 5. However the food was below par and very disappointing, breakfast was over cooked cold and very little choice not authentic Scottish and not locally sourced. Meal in main bar on first night, we ordered fish and chips and but when it arrived we where very disappointed as on e specials board you offered beer battered fish with had cut chips mushy peas and tarter sauce but this option was never offered up us by the waitress we where served low quality, cold breaded fish, frozen chips hard garden peas and a sachie of tarter sauce. I would have assumed if a specials board this should pointed out to your customers.
