They didn't have our first or second choice of order for lunch and when the food came it was the same quality you would get from the local burger van but with the hefty price tag of £10 each and that didn't even include drinks. Not the standard of food I expected for the price, on the plus side the staff member who served us was friendly and apologetic.

We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your meal at The Drymen Pottery. However our meals are far from 'Burger van quality' as all our burgers come from the local butcher and the rest of our meat is Highland beef. We only run out of things because everything is cooked from fresh, and after a busy day these things happen. Our portions are big and of great quality ...so well worth the money.

Wet day but a warm cheery welcome from a very pleasant young gentlemen. Once we were seated the menu was presented then our order taken. Food arrived , freshly prepared and in good sized portions and very nicely presented followed later by our coffee. Open fire was a treat , the place was well warm. Meal and coffee finished we sat for a bit just enjoying the place, no hurry and no feeling of being rushed at all.

Friendly staff but prices on Menu different to those charged when paying the bill !!!!

In particular pint of Peroni lager advertised as 4.00 on the menu but charged 4.50 when paying.

Food was bland and it took the salt 'and pepper'dishes from three tables to get one that worked !

All in all a poor show and I'll be crossing the street for my food and drink in future...

We have visited this place three times now and each visit has been thoroughly enjoyable. The food is beautifully fresh and delicious. Had the blackpudding starter and the campus and hubby enjoyed the pork chops and potato skins. Great portions and value for money. Definitely be back.

What a fantastic find, went with a Itison voucher & have nothing but praise for this place. Fantastic homemade food, had the deep fried black pudding followed by lasagne & chips, all homemade. Staff were extremely welcoming & friendly & the warm inviting environment was a must on a wintery day. Will definitely return again
