“Spectacular B&B in a great location”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

We really enjoyed staying at Mulberry Lodge. The room was decorated beautifully with all the little touches, and we loved the little balcony terrace outside the room that we could sit on and watch the sun go down! The bed was comfy and the breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed meeting Yvonne and her lovely cat Thackery. The west highland way runs right outside the B&B for those who are walking it, and the village is a short and very scenic stroll away. We loved the back garden with the little stream in, and being able to see sheep right outside the window! We had a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. We were in the room with the beautiful turquoise colours and the pretty matching dresser. Just beautiful! Also the shower was "epic" and wonderful.

Room Tip: The room with the turquoise theme was lovely.

Yvonne was a wonderful host and the rooms are truly lovely! Although the bathroom was not "in suite" it was no bother at all and the decor is truly lovely! Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this B&B.

This B and B is situated beautifully with wonderful gardens. The decor is beautifully thought out, both in the bedrooms and the cosy lounge and dining room. The only very minor problem we found was that the toilet was squeezed in the corner of the (otherwise very well appointed) en-suite and it was very easy to touch the heated towel rail - so be careful on the job! Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. And most importantly, the hosts were superb - friendly and welcoming without being overbearing at all. Its a short walk into Drymen (as we discovered, pronounced Drimmen) where there is a very good selection of watering holes. We would definitely return !

Mulberry Lodge was our first B&B on the West Highland Way,we were made to feel very welcome, our beds were very comfy and we had lots of extra room for all of our luggage.Next day,the breakfast was delicious and I thought it was nice how we had breakfast with the other guest,as we got to know another two WHW walkers two smashing lads from Edinburgh.

We picked this BnB for a stopover as we were touring Scotland by car in August 2012. We were looking for a cozy place near Loch Lomond and close to Glasgow in case the weather turned out rainy (which it did).
The house itself is a beauty, decorated with great taste and very clean. We were assigned 2 rooms which shared a toilet on the first floor. Given that we traveled with the kids, it was like having our own apartment. I admit that I enjoyed spending some time looking at the details of the house. Very good breakfast too.
Yvonne is a lovely guest and she gave us a great suggestion for dinner, in Dryden.
If all bnb were like that, I would not set foot in a hotel anymore!

What a lovely surprise to receive a review from guests who stayed back in August of last year. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay, so much so that you took the time to write a review after such a long time had past. Thank you. Take care Yvonne.
