Absolutely loved this place!

Mixed feelings about the dinner, the majority of the dishes were amazing, some were quite poor, however I would still repeat and pay the 55 pounds as the experience was unforgettable. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Service and hotel atmosphere was outstanding. They gave us the wrong room, this was a little disappointing as we called in advance to make sure it was arranged but I must admit the 5 feature room we were allocated in was unique and perfect. I would not change anything from my time at Monachyle Mhor Hotel and hopefully one day I will be able to go back.

For 55 pond, you do expect a real nice diner.
Abvious they try but is was not tastfull at all. strange combinations (salmon with grapefruit?), too long cooked fish, much too salty (no good chef use much salt) dessert almost too sweet to eat. Big surprise next morning: breakfast was great!

We had cycled here from the forest lodges on Loch Lubnaig on one of the hottest days of the year so, to be honest, anything would have been welcome. However, it was a lovely spot to recover with great service, freshly baked scones and a fabulous view. We paid under £10 for our cream scones and pot of tea which we felt was good value.

Loved the brekkie with fresh made scones and marmalade follwoed by something light and followed by some Scottish fayre usually smoked fish. Perfect way to start the day.
Evening meals are devine.

We walked here for a drink from the Loch Voil Hostel on the other side of the loch (about 25 mins).

The setting is absolutely stunning outside and really cosy inside.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent bar and highly recommended.
