This hotel and I use the word hotel loosely the should pay u to stay there. I thought my bed was in the middle if the disco if they have night club below rooms they should invest in sound proofing. As for the room they turned a minging double room into a triple room so much so you literally got out the bed and were in the toilet. You would have a better stay pitching a tent and sleeping in a field. I would be interested in who regulates hotels as a full inspection of this hell hole needs to be carried out. Stay there at your own peril remember the saying if it sounds too good to be true it is trust me this hell hole should come with a health warning

My partner and I were visiting family and decided to book into your hotel (17/01/2014). BAD IDEA! Would have been best sleeping in the streets. First of all we waited for 6 minutes for someone to appear at the reception and when they did it was as if it was a burden for them to even be dealing with us. After being given our keys we made our way to the room and almost done myself an injury by tripping on loose carpet - very health and safety conscious of management! The room itself smelled old and mouldy and as if it had not been cleaned in a long time. There was stains on the bed sheets and hair down the sink plug. You must hire the BEST cleaners around. As for the TV signal that you apparently have, I would have received a better signal via a potato masher. We decided to give the club a go and that was a huge mistake. The Dj (fat guy, dark hair and local accent) was rude and obnoxious when I asked for a request. I was basically laughed at and told where to go. The requests were played if you were a younger girl, breasts out and willing to flirt with the creep. The music was just a load of noise. The best part about my break was checking out the day after!!

Room Tip: Go to another hotel.

Bought this deal through Glasgows Great Deal for £69 as a surprise night away for our friends wedding anniversary. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Our rooms were basic but clean and big. The live band that played in the bar were excellent . We had a 2 course dinner as part of the deal and our food was delicious couldnt fault it the same with breakfast. We didnt go to the nightclub but we were well aware that this is on at the w/end and is clearly stated on the hotels website and we were reminded by the receptionist when we booked in so why are reviewers complaining about this? All in all this is a lovely clean basic hotel with friendly staff and we will certainly return if we get a good deal again the only criticism i would have is it is needing decorated in some parts

Room Tip: if you dont want to be kept wakened by the nightclub phone ahead and ask for a room away from it

Bought a one night break via Todays great deals for £69, included dinner, bed and breakfast. First of all the hotel was dirty and smelled bad, stair carpet had not been cleaned or vacumed in a long time. First room we got was directly above the night club and we were told would be noisy until 3am. We asked to be moved and staff were friendly enough and moved us. The next room had what I thought was built in wardrobe with a hole kicked in the door. Sliding door with no handle and didnt close properly. When I opened the door I found to my dissapointment that was the toilet. At dinner we were advised that our meal was free as long as we orded one of the specials at £5.50. TV remote control broken and the trim from the shelving unit fell off. Radiator was stone cold and it was very cold outside.Milk was sour. At reception you could feel your feet sinking into holes below the carpet.
As you have probably gathered we left after dinner as I couldnt face spending the night there.

We had a double above the night club on a Saturday night, booked through Groupon. The rooms are basic sort of 70's décor, clean but not spotless and the bed had seen better days. The ensuite was adequate.Food in the bar was the usual pub grub, deep fried anything! This apart, the karaoke entertainment in the bar was excellent fun and all patrons were chatty and welcoming. The nightclub which gives free entry to residents is also worth a wee visit, especially if you want to sleep at weekends!Breakfast was good and served by a lovely local lady who couldn't do enough to make us happy.Overall for a wee night out of the ordinary and good fun it was worth what we paid, which was under £60,with a 2 course meal and bottle of wine. There are lovely walks and scenery if you venture a little further and Lomond Shores retail Park is also nearby for a spot of shopping.

Room Tip: If you want to bed down early, not above the nightclub!!!!!

We bought this on a Glasgow great deal [£69.00] for an overnight stay at the week end. We are in our mid 40's and had an absolute ball here. I don't know what you were all moaning about. We were greeted at reception by Margaret who could not be any nicer, she was so friendly and helpful an absolute credit to the hotel.
Our room was fine, basic and clean and beds were comfy, what more do you want? We had a late lunch which was included in the deal, food was great and lots of it and even got a drink included.
We later went for drinks in the bar and then onto the nightclub which is part of the hotel, great atmosphere and not too busy which was good. I staggered up to our room around 02.30am.
The next morning we had breakfast which is also included in the deal and once again we couldn't fault it.
We wanted to book in for new year and were advised that that hotel would be closed which is unfortunate.
We will definatly be back sooner than you think.

We were very disappointed in the quality of the room for £75 per night.

The TV control didn't work and was taped up with sellotape.

The room smelled of cigarettes. This was especially bad at around 4am-5am in the morning, and especially so in the bathroom.

The soap in the bathroom was a previously finished soap dispenser that had been filled up with water. How disgusting!

The shower was cold in the morning and the water pressure was very weak.

There was a cheap plastic sheet on the bed which made it very hot and sticky.

The corridor outside our room was also noisy during the night.

We hardly slept and ended up leaving at 6am in the morning - a night porter said that there was no manager available until 10am. (When I checked in, there was another guest saying how there was never anyone around to help and that they hated the hotel.)

My partner spoke to the hotel since then and they acknowledged some of these issues and said that in order to receive compensation we had to submit our comments via Venere / Expedia. I have followed up with both Venere.com (Expedia) and the hotel 3 times and neither have replied.

Would not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel
