Have visited twice and been very pleased with service and food. Service attentive but not intrusive. Above average quality for a Chinese/ Cantonese restaurant with some more unusual dishes available. Haven't been a huge Chinese food fan in the past but many more dishes I want to return to try.

Spending 4 nights in Loch Lomond, we were looking for restaurants at which to eat and caught a glimpse of the unassuming Princess Rose whilst driving past.

Having looked up the menu online, we decided to give the meal for 2 a try. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Great value, with soup, hors d'oeuvres, two mains (with rice), dessert and tea or coffee included. The food was delicious; much better than the generic Chinese food I'm accustomed to in London.

The service was also excellent; attentive without being overbearing.

Overall, probably 4 star food, but the service, value and ambiance push this up to a 5* review.

There are certainly worse, more expensive, options in the area.

Great Cantonese food, very attentive staff that went the extra mile to make a coffee not on their drinks menu! Will be going there again when we next visit!
