Description: Arrochar Tearoom is a small tearoom in the village of Arrochar that opened its doors again in September 2011. The building has served as a tearoom as far back as 1940s I believe it has changed names a few times but always traded as a tearoom. Parking is becoming a big problem for the tearoom so advised to park across road when available or a short walk (5 min) from the head of the loch car park across from the petrol station.

A quaint and pleasant wee place for a coffee, the owner was friendly and made us feel very welcome even although we were only in for a cuppa...we will certainly call in again on our next visit and even if we are only passing through.
Nice area to the side with tables and a view of the loch.

“Nice food”

Nice food and friendly staff, especially the waitress, a bit old fashioned and in need of an update, but just fine for a light lunch after a long drive....

“Pretty spot, needs more staff.”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

We stopped here after a walk up the Cobbler. We had soft drinks, teas, scones and fruit. Waiter (owner?) trying very, very hard to be friendly. Everything was pleasant and acceptable. Lovely views. Clean loo with fun Banksy style transfer on the door. Other funky touches here and there. Sadly there were two 'fails' though: 1. Whilst we were seated and looking at the menus, our waiter came over and cleaned the table with spray detergent, which we all got a nice taste of in the air. Whilst we all appreciated the focus on hygiene, a simple wipe with a cloth would be better. 2. We had been served and were merrily enjoying the ambience when two customers came in and stood at the counter for ages. There were sounds from the kitchen, but no one came out, and the customers left looking perplexed. If you don't have sufficient staff to man the counter at all times, you at least need a bell or something to ring for service. All round a nice place to stop for a snack.
