“Why you should visit this beautiful place...”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

The Isha Institute of Inner Sciences is a magical place - there are hiking and biking trails to waterfalls and amazing cliff views of the Cumberland plateau. Mahima, the huge dome meditation hall is the length of 2 football fields and is a special place to be inside, with windowed views all around. The lodging is simple, clean and nice, and food is delicious and nutritious. I felt so rejuvenated and energized after visiting!

“Do you really want to know who you really are?”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

This is a possible place you have been looking for, if you want to know who you really are, beyond your beautiful physical body and complex & intelligent mind. After living here for 4 days, I got the following:

1. For body; delicious & energetic food and exercise (trails, bluffs, water falls)
2. For mind; Peace, more energy, clarity in thinking, different perception
3. Awareness that I am not this body and I am not even this mind.
4. 100% involvement in life.

These are just few to mention here. I have just started living my life, more may be possible for you, do visit.

“A consecrated space for deep meditation and inner work”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

I have been to the Isha Center twice to attend different Isha programs. The center is unique in the energy, the peace and the sense of joy it instills. If you are looking to disconnect from the world for some time and take a few days or weeks to look within yourself, I cannot recommend a better place. Your accommodations and food are taken care of and are designed to be supportive for your inner journey. You can volunteer and participate in activities around you as mush or as little as you want. I think this is a space without parallel in USA and a space that is desperately needed.

“Heaven on Earth”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

iii center is one of the most beautiful places on the earth I have been to. The place is very scenic and the administration maintain it very well. It's a place that demonstrates you how to live life to the maximum potential in the most beautiful way. The food they serve, the lawns they maintain, the consecrated hall that they maintain and the love of the people who take care of you - everything is so wonderful experience.

“Better have deep pockets”
Reviewed May 29, 2014 via mobile

Attended initial meditation class and was unable to progress any further for lack of funds. No scholarship or work trade. Beautiful place, serene, very nice people and experience...just don't have the money to go any further.

Thank you for your feedback and the opportunity to further explain our offerings. As a non-profit organization with the support of thousands of volunteers, we actually are able to offer our programs at considerably lower rates than similar courses elsewhere. We provide full or partial scholarship to 15% of those who enroll for our classes, as well as discounts to full-time students, couples/groups and seniors. For others in financial need we offer payment plans or work-trade agreements, depending on the financial needs of the person and the operational needs of the center.
