“Relax in comfort”
Reviewed October 31, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

My wife and I came across this cottage at the last minute, booking less than a week before our stay, and we are so glad we did. I cannot praise this property highly enough. Our criteria was quite simple - a quiet cottage with either an open fire or a log burner, close to a beach. This property ticked all the boxes and more. It has the modern touch - modern kitchen with a Nespresso coffee maker, WIFI, blue-ray DVD with a good selection of films, fully loaded iPod with a good mix of albums - but still manages to feel like a quaint little cottage if you want to get away from it all and relax with a good book. The bathroom is small but has a good shower. The beds are comfortable, as are the sofas and armchairs in the front room, and despite it being single glazed we never felt the cold, even when it was blowing a gale outside. In fact we had to turn the radiators right down because it was too warm to light the fire.
The owner also kindly let us use a couple of mountain bikes in the garden hut.
Would recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from it all for a while.
