Great hospitality and the most amazing breakfast. Just what you need after another day walking on the West Highland Way.

Staying at the Edencoille was one of the highlights of my walk of the West Highland Way. After facing two rainy days of hiking in a row, the Edencoille was like a dream come true. The owners really put themselves in the shoes of their clients and provided hot tea, a foot massager, and fluffy robes to put on after a shower. (Like many people, we arrived before our bags did.) The breakfast was also lovely and the amount and selection was unmatched at any other place we stayed. Great job!

from the moment we arrived here tired and weary from a long day on the west highland way , ice packs for aching feet and a warming cup of tea were provided even though we arrived much earlier than expected nothing was to much trouble for mrs Robertson and her husband , local knowledge of where to eat was most welcome the breakfast was large and the menu varied , the rooms were welcoming and cosy with lots of personal touches which made it seem less a hotel and more a home from home

This has to be one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. The whole place was spotless, the room was so comfortable, had everything a walker would ever dream of needing and the breakfast was to die for! Loved every minute and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

6 friends did the West Highland Way and stayed here on the way. We all agree that you would go a long way to find a better breakfast and packed lunch with spotless accommodation and friendly hosts.

Maybe we were unlucky but our twin room was very small and the price was no less than better places we have stayed. No evening meals as of this year so we walked a mile into town and a mile back in the rain. Not ideal when you're doing a long distance path. Breakfast was exceptionally generous and lots of fresh fruit, which we appreciated. Packed lunch was also enormous and we actually left behind the (packaged) cake and biscuits.

The people that complained obviously visited when Elsie was in hospital. Drew has a hearing impediment so they only had to speak clearly. The couple were fantastic hosts. They picked us up from Kings House as we could not get booked in (we were walking the W.H.W.) which meant we had to face Breakfast twice! We went for the Continental breakfast so we don't normally eat much in the morning! After the cereal there was a hugh fruit bowl and the choice of cold meats and cheeses unbelievable. (We had difficuly walking after that lot!)

The packed lunches that others had ordered looked enough to feed a small army!

The rooms were immaculate and the shower great.
