“b&b on west highland wayarrived”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

5th time I have stayed at reconcile with Elsie and drew and have taken to stay for two nights as drew can pick you up from kingshouse and drop you back next morning. Every year seems better than the last. On arrival we were warmly welcomed with a mini fresh fruit Pavlova...so even suits those requiring gluten free diet. The rooms have many special extras.... a little gift bag of toiletries to take away and the en-suite bedrooms have plenty of lovely Milton Brown toiletries and all the little extras you might need and great comfy beds. With lots of fresh fruit you can help yourself to and amazing choice at breakfast....its well worth treating yourself to edencoille.

Room Tip: All rooms en-suite but a terrific large family room if travelling with a few friends or family

How nice to be greeted after a long hike from Kingshome with plate of Pavlova, my all-time favorite dessert. Proprietor couldn't have been kinder as we settled in. The room was lovely, just as an elegant B&B should be! Each of us was offered a small personalized packet of toiletries and later welcomed to the living room where fruit was available all day long. Breakfast menu is extensive.

Having walked a rainy 16 miles from Fort William to Kinlochleven last Thursday, it was a joy to arrive at the Edencoille B&B, Greeted by Drew who offered to take care of our soaking wet walking boots, he guided us up to room 7 on the top floor where everything was just perfect. After a nice hot shower, I came out of the bathroom to find a cream filled meringue with a strawberry on top sitting there waiting on me - yum yum. After a great night's sleep, I went downstairs for a delicious breakfast of kippers and scrambled egg and enjoyed a lovely fresh cup of coffee.

I look forward staying again sometime.

Having stayed here whilst walking the WHW. There's just nothing this outstanding B and B wouldn't have. From arriving to lovely friendly hosts to receiving 5star room to sleep in. The food is out of this world and what's not available on the breakfast table just would not be worth having, the largest amount of fresh produce I've ever seen. Having come back with friends to do WHW againThis B and B even hav accommodated and helped me with alternative accomodation as they're fully booked. I've even had help with bus timetables as we're having to stay in glencoe. They've just gone that extra mile on everything. A definite must to visit. WE WILL RETURN.

I would just like the take the time to thank Elsie & Drew for welcoming us into their beautiful home for one night back in October 2013! We were given such a warm, friendly welcome and service throughout our stay! The standards were exceptional, from the cleanliness, value, service, and rooms .. A true hidden gem! It's so refreshing to feel so comfortable away from home and Elsie made sure this was never a doubt!

Thank-you again Elsie & Drew, you both made our trip to the highlands a memorable occasion for all the right reasons.

I took my fiancé to the highlands for her first time for some hill walking. I was just looking for accommodation with basic comforts. Judging by the price that's what I thought we would receive as it was so well priced without how well our stay turned out to be.
First of all we arrived so late on the Saturday night due to work requirements but this, as Elsie kept telling us, was no problem at all. When we were welcomed, we were asked to order our breakfast, this was our second surprise as the menu was brilliant for a little Guesthouse tucked away in the highlands, ranging from poached salmon to a very! full Scottish breakfast or continental and so on.
The Guesthouse wasn't full when we stayed which I thought might have been why we had such a great room but on having a little snoop around to get my bearings, all the other rooms from twin, single to family were all as accommodating and well equipped as ours was.
We only stayed the next morning for breakfast and left soon after as I had a lot of walking planned to tire out my wife to be! Breakfast did not disappoint! we were both only sorry we couldn't eat more of the breakfast, fresh fruit and cold meats Elsie and Drew had for what was only us and one other guest that morning.
Our stay throughout was Brilliant and couldn't have wished for more, I would definitely return and would obviously recommend this little guesthouse as its the best I have ever stayed in to any group, couple or family and would be confident you would write a review like this after it.

Many Thanks to Elsie, Drew & family!
Michael & Amy-Simone

Many thanks for your kind review all of the way from the Netherlands! In Bonny Scotland it does tend to rain a little (lol!) so we are always glad to make sure that our walkers have dry clothes for the next day and a hearty breakfast too! All the very best. Elsie & Drew.
