We went here for an evening meal on our wedding anniversary as recommended to us by our hosts, and were not disappointed. The food was lovely, very tasty and good value for money, we ate in the bar as it was Easter and they were very busy, but this did not effect the service as the staff were friendly, polite and efficient. we had three courses each and a couple of drinks and our bill came to £57. Lovely view from our table, bar area was a bit hectic though, will definately go back again but will book the restaurant next time.

My wife and I occasionally stop and eat here when passing, and even make this a destination.

It has lovely sea views which are very visible from the modern bar with its glass ‘wall’. The food is well above average for pub food and the prices are reasonable.

Breakfast as a guest was delicious. But the meals for dinner were not. I ate the seafood special and it did not agree with me. Drowning salmon and scallops in a creamy sludge seems unnecessary. Tenderising steak to within an inch of its life also seems old fashioned. Not recommended sorry.

This is the second time we have dined here and will definitely not be the last. Our meal was absolutely delicious and the service efficient, friendly but not overbearing. The menu offers a great choice of seafood and non seafood options and our 3 courses with a bottle of wine and a soft drink came to £80. We had scallops/smoked salmon for starters, venison for mains and sticky toffee pudding (which was so huge I was completely floored!) and apple crepes for dessert...could not fault anything.
The views are absolutely spectacular. Recommend booking for weekends/holidays but we went on a Thursday so had the pick of the window tables to watch the beautiful sunset.

Stopped off for a quick bite to eat on a chilly day. We were able to take the dog into the station lounge which had a roaring fire going. We both had the delicious and very substantial smoked haddock chowder
Would like to go back (without dog) and enjoy the wonderful views from the main bar or terrace.
Staff were very friendly and service excellent.
