Met by Sarah the owner with a glowing smile and a friendly welcome. Sarah made us most welcome firstly making a nice warm drink with fresh home baked cakes..........just what we needed after our long journey.
Sarah went through the guest house amenities, village amenities and showed us to our guest room. The room was cosy, spacious, clean and very inviting. The room we had was equipped with Sky TV, tea-tray and hairdryer. The en-suite was clean and well equipped with all the essentials required for our stay.
Breakfast was delicious with a choice of times and food and plenty of it. There is also a sitting room that can be used to relax with internet access and you can even enjoy a wee dram of whisky with donations to a good cause! Excellent for cyclists as there is cycle storage and a place to dry out your clothes.
I would recommend a visit to this lovely guest house, it's worth a visit just to meet Sarah and to enjoy her home-baking...................treat yourself next time you are heading to Braemar.
