We stayed 3 nights in the self catering appartment which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We felt at home immediatly and enjoyed catering for ourselves after 3 weeks of Hotels and B&B's. The Braemar Gathering was the highlight of our stay and only a few minuites walk away. The countryside around is stunning. Love to go back one day and would highly reccomend.

We spent a few days in the self-catering flat in Dalmore House in August and we were very warmly welcomed. The flat is very cosy, well-equipped and comfortable. We had there everything we needed (at cold nights even the heating was on), and we were guarded by a very friendly dog. What is more, the House is situated in a beautiful town, which is a tourist attraction by itself. There are a lot interesting routes around, for long walks through the moors and glens. The mountains can be seen just through the window. It is a perfect place for family holidays.

Spent 3 nights in this home from home B&B where Marilyn and Richard couldn't have made us more welcome. Clean and tidy good sized bedroom, Endless Tea and coffee (don't forget the biscuits) and superb breakfasts. Both were full of any information we required from walks , cycle routes, places to visit, history of Braemar even down to Scottish Country dance steps!! (we really enjoyed our night at the dance class) We couldn't have picked a more comfortable accommodating place to stay and will definitely be back.
