Perfect B&B - I think it couldn´t be much better!
Very warm welcome from our host, George, great room, stunning view, everything clean and modern - George even changed pieces of the furniture that I can pass all passages with the wheelchair!
The breakfast was really opulant, very good and perfect too!

I think, everything was in it´s best - we was the only guests so we also had the TV in the TV lounge for our own :)

Would highly recomment this B&B and we will come back when we are in scottland again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view to the loch! That is really great!

My friend and I stayed at the Bruach Ard B&B for 2 nights in July and had a wonderful time. We drove up from Inverness and frequently stopped on the road to admire the beautiful scenery of this part of the world, but even the beautiful landscapes had nothing on the amazing beauty of the Poolewe area. The B&B is located around 10 miles from Gairloch in a remote area called Inversadale and the house overlooks the stunning Loch Ewe. The owner, David George, warmly welcomed us upon arrival and showed us to the house. The B&B is a very nicely decorated house that feels like a Home away from home. Our room was an en-suite twin room overlooking the garden where we could observe beautiful birds in the morning. Everything was spotless, fresh and clean and the bed linens and towels were oh so soft. The view from the guest living room is breathtaking no matter the weather and the time of the day. My friend and I could picture ourselves there in winter, with a glass of wine and a nice fire in the fire place. This is how cosy it felt. Breakfast choices were great and Mr George went the extra mile to make sure that we got everything we liked. We had some traditional haggis on the first morning together with all the other ingredients for a perfect Scottish breakfast. It was so beautifully cooked! We had salmon the second day and we had hardly tasted a nicer salmon before. In the whole, the food was excellent. Although the B&B is off the beaten track, civilisation is not far away. Gairloch is only 10 miles away and has a few very nice restaurants and pubs where it is easy to sample the Scottish kindness and hospitality. The area is ideal for long or short walks around the Lochs or on the hills.
I would recommend the area and the B&B to anyone who is looking for excellent food, breathtaking scenery and an amazing sense of hospitality.

Stayed for 3 nights in October and really enjoyed the stay. The satnav won't take you to the door, but when you do find it, the views across the loch with the mountains in the distance are fantastic! The room was spotless with a decent shower, comfortable bed and plenty of tea/coffee/milk. Breakfast was excellent with cereals, juice, etc and pot of tea. There is a choice of cooked breakfasts which are certainly big enough to prepare you for a day in the hills. I had one evening meal which was also excellent. David was very helpful with providing walking advice and had lots of books and maps to help plan a day out. The sitting room was a great place to sit and read in front of the coal fire instead of the usual Sky TV option. AS others have said, it is remote but there are enough places to eat and drink within a 20 min drive. Would definitely return.
