Good hotel for short stay. Limited variety of the food items in the break fast, Lunch and Dinner. No phones in the rooms, no common PC with internate facility for the customers.
It is better if you want to stay for 1-2 days.

Was driving up to Edinburgh for the bank holiday weekend and all the hotels were full. Hence, I booked this hotel in Livingston, just outside Edinburgh.
Did not regret it as the Premier Inn quality is maintained despite the building displaying signs of age. For instance, the bathtub has got squeky sounds when you stand in it and you can see wear and tear in many areas (bathrooms, corridors, etc) But overall, you do see the effort in maintaining the hotel. Parking is also free and basic toiletries are provided in the room
If you stay in Livingston, do remember to also pop by the Livingston designer outlet and also shopping centre which is really good (from the hotel's staff recommendation)

We stopped here for 1 night and was our first time at a premier Inn. It was easy to find, a very convenient location for where we needed to be the next day and had plenty of car park spaces. Every where was very clean and tidy, the rooms reception and outside. Helpful and friendly staff. A beefeater next door should you need it. Very good value for money and we would stay here again.

Great location for my trip, met my expectations with no nasty surprises. Only negative is the hot water pressure which is poor at best and makes showering an activity sport as you run around to try and get wet.

A pleasant stay with friendly staff that took an interest in the children. It was a comfortable room with everything we needed. The food was particularly good at the restaurant. Breakfast is cooked to order and the service was quick which I must say if better than the Buffett style which you never know how long has been sitting out. A very enjoyable trip.

Stayed here mid week for work.

Reading other reviews I can only assume that I was positioned in an old room - although it was spacious it is dingy, the bed hurts my bones it is so hard and it is the only hotel I have stayed in for years with no internet availability... 2 bars signal showed but this was not strong enough to connect from my room.

Also no phone in the room to contact reception with.

The restaurant attached is a beefeater, cheap food and poor quality. Burnt tomatoe soup and eton mess with only two teaspoons of merrange - the rest was ice-cream and served in a nickerbocker glory glass!

Hotel staff are freindly but i feel it badly needs bringing into the modern age.

We've stayed in a few Premier Inns and this one was up to their usual standards, spacious, clean and GVFM. Stayed for two nights visiting relatives in the area. Only criticism was a slight wait in reception on check-in and in the restaurant on the first morning waiting to be seated for breakfast but to be honest the staff were run ragged and multi tasking, so felt for them. They were very helpful and friendly both in the hotel and the restaurant attached. Free wi-fi in the restaurant should you need it. We flew to Edinburgh but chose this hotel over the one at the airport purely to be closer to our relatives in Forth but it was still only about a 7 mile drive away. Would recommend.
