Good sunny outdoor area. Traditional pub food - enjoyable with attentive service. Friendly and welcoming.

Stopped here for lunch which was mediocre, as was the bar itself. The limp salad was disappointing as the menu promised so much. Quite expensive for what is was.

If you're looking for honest food and good service, then this is just fine - it's certainly not as pretentious as the Hotel! Lots of family groups enjoying themselves is always a good sign. I can highly recommend the chicken breasts stuffed with black pudding!

Currently on Harris with my partner spending a couple of days just having a quick look around as the end to a weeks holiday on Skye. We ate in the Harris inn tonight as there were no tables available in either the pier or hotel Hebrides. The service was very good & welcoming but the food wasn't fantastic & quite pricey. I had steak which at nearly £19 could have been a lot nicer, in fact I've cooked better myself. My partner had Cajun chicken burger which he said was passable. The chips were frozen ones rather than homemade which was a shame. We were both starving so it didn't matter too much but I think we'll try & find somewhere else to eat tomorrow.
