We spent our wedding anniversary on a wet and windy night at this small hotel in the north of Skye. What a find it was. The food was superb with a very good choice of wine from an inexpensive wine list. The hotel is family run and the friendly, helpful service was a treat. You will pay far more at Kinloch Lodge and the Three Chimneys but we doubt whether you will bet better value for money. We shall be back!

We stayed here during a four night stay in Scotland, starting on the Isle of Skye. It was my first visit to Scotland and will definitely not be my last! It was the best 5 days I've had in quite some time, an experience that will take some beating.

Our first night was on the Isle of Skye and we stayed in Simon and Kirsty's amazing hotel. The decor and furnishings are just gorgeous, it looks fantastic and is so homely. Simon's dinner was second to none, he quite clearly loves his job! The home made chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream was out of this world! Breakfast was equally delicious, there were only the four of us staying at the time but the effort he went to was amazing. It was such a fabulous stay. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!

We have stayed here twice. Simon and Kirsty are wonderful people. Simon is an amazing chef and ask him to make you bag lunches for you day trips around the island. Kirsty will tell you he "loves that job." And then laugh. And then we enjoy the best "bag lunch" we have ever had. Seriously, cannot say enough good things about this couple and their fine hotel. Our room was so comfortable on both stays. And always Simon's homemade "tablet" on our bedside tables. The Glenview is a great jumping off point for the abundance of things to do on skye. We will be going back this year. Fantastic food, owners who make you feel like you are family, and the great accommodations are all first rate.

A lovely wee place in a beautiful area of Skye. The food is lovely - we went twice in our one week stay - and the service faultless and friendly. Highly recommended.
Sorry - can't think of anything more to say about this lovely wee place and it's really nice staff. Is that two hundred words yet?
Jeezo. Apparently not.
Well, go and visit when you go to Skye. If you haven't been to Skye, make sure it's on your bucket list!

Stayed for 2 nights with friends, we had been there some 18 years ago & it had obviously changed hands since then.

That said, the friendliness, outstanding quality of the food & the overall service was quite fantastic.

This "Inn" couldn't be recommended more highly. Kirsty is so welcoming & Simon is a true inspirational chef. Top quality.

The Glenview Hotel is a wonderful small hotel with comfortable rooms, and absolutely delicious meals. Innkeepers Simon and Kirsty are very friendly, and also very knowledgeable about great walks to take in the area. It was one of our favorite places that we stayed on Skye -- three glorious nights.

We stayed at the Glenview Hotel during our vacation on the Isle of Skye. I am so glad we chose this Hotel. Our room was really comfortable and, like the rest of the hotel, was decorated in a fun, kitchey style. I am REALLY HAPPY that we decided to eat dinner in the Glenview restaurant. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. They served a cup of beet soup as an appetizer. My husband hates beets, but after I persuaded him to taste his serving, he finished all of his soup! Anyone who can get my husband to eat beets is not a chef, but is a magician. The pancakes I had for breakfast were perfect. They were topped with fresh berries and a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Nom, nom, nom! We highly recommend this hotel.
