A great place to stay

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Sep 16, 2016
We stayed at Ardmorn for 3 days and it was the highlight of our weeks in Scotland and Ireland. Because of its somewhat central location it was our base station for our exploration of the Isle of Skye. We stayed at a few other B&B's during our trip and Andy and Malcom were far and away the friendliest and most accommodating hosts that we encountered. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and well prepared and the rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was a welcome place to return to at the end of the day. If we return to Skye, Ardmorn will definitely be on the list.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Our breakfast was well prepared and very good. A quiet place to hang your hat when in this area of Scotland. Andy and Malcolm made us feel welcome and we loved their black lab.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ardmorn very much. It is a home away from home! The room was comfortable, very clean and cosy, the bed was perfect so sleep in. Location and view of this accommodation is unbeatable! Malcom and Andy are the best and friedliest hosts you can think of. It´s not very easy to find a dog friendly accommodation in this area, but we made a perfect pick with this lovely B&B. The breakfast was wonderful and the provided dinner too. We would love to return some day soon.

Hello both! Many thanks for your review, and glad that you enjoyed our 'home from home' experience!! That's the idea so it's good to know we have succeeded ;-)

Hope to see all three of you again in the future if you return to Skye.

This was my second stay in this b&b. Excellent location, the place is clean and cosy. I appreciate option to have a dinner in the house...as well as packed lunch. The island itself is ideal for active holidays / hiking/biking. Overall, once again a memorable stay for me - highly recommended. Marek.

Hi Marek - thanks for taking the time to review us, and thanks for the positive response! It was lovely to see you again and, indeed, our pleasure to look after you during your stay. Perhaps another hiking holiday will be on the cards in another couple of years??! Thanks again and keep in touch.

Staying at Ardmorn was like having a warm hug on a cold winter day. Andy and Malcolm made us feel genuinely welcome and the accommodation was spotless, spacious, warm, and full of little added extra's and treats, the welcoming cup of tea and shortbread especially lifted our spirits on a hugely soggy August day. They even let us bring our two doglets and provided towels and treats for them too, aaagh! Also Beautiful Brodie is there for a cuddle if you are dog less. The food was great, definitely have supper there if you stay. Definitely recommend this B and B.

Very welcoming. Couldn't have been better. Fantastic accommodation and food. Great for dogs. Recommend you stay in for dinner as food here will not be bettered in Dunvegan. The place has a drinks licence so you can enjoy wine with your meal and a Talisker nightcap to enjoy along with the superb view.
