“If you want that great little hideaway decorated with heart and style then this is it!!”
Reviewed April 21, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

After a long journey it was a welcome sight indeed, a warm welcoming home from home, then we discovered that fantastic view the following morning, wow the colour the light of the loch and the atmosphere of the mountain. House had all mod cons, underfloor heating a must, clean stylish (Scotia-Nordic) comfy beds and a sun room we were rarely out of. The central location is a winner, whilst a rural cottage it was only a few miles into Portree, great for getting around the island. enclosed garden ideal for the kids and dog, wonderful view and air so good for the soul, worth coming back again we think, a great find.

“Lovely cottage with great views”
Reviewed January 10, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

We stayed in Kirsty's Cottage about 8 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It the meantime Dawn and Andy have made significant improvements so the ground floor is a bit like the Tardis. Well appointed utility room, spacious kitchen, comfortable sitting room with log burner and garden room with magnificent views of the sea loch and Cuillins. Dog friendly and a secure garden. Walks close to hand. Highly recommended. Will be back.

“Lovely cozy cottage on beautiful Skye”
Reviewed November 6, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a great time both on the Isle of Skye and in the cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and nicely decorated. It suited us, a family with 3 children (age 8, 10 and 11) very well. The sofa bed in the sunroom is a great solution for a fifth person.
Dawn and Andrew were very kind and helpful. If we get the chance, we'll definitely come back!

“Perfect retreat on Skye”
Reviewed October 31, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Lovely cottage which has everything needed for a week long break. Real fire, comfy beds, brilliant views, close to the beach (with seals everywhere when we first arrived), big DVD collection. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Dawn and Andrew.

“Absolutely Beautiful”
Reviewed October 17, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage and the fantastic weather was a real bonus.
All of the cottage's contents are top quality from the crockery and the cooking utensils through to the lovely cotton bedding and furniture. Lots of lovely scatter cushions added to the comfort of the sofas and armchairs! (which my wife loved).
The views from the garden room are amazing and what a place to start each day with a cup of coffee looking out over the loch, watching the seals basking on the rocks and the views to the mountains beyond.
The cottage is located at the end of a small lane about 20 mins drive from Portree - nicely secluded and peaceful but within easy reach of all the main sights of the island.
The underfloor heating and log burning stove make this such a cosy place to spend your evenings after a long day's walk.
The owners are a lovely couple and keep the cottage and gardens in immaculate condition and they make you feel very welcome indeed.
We certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous, tastefully furnished and cosy cottage to anyone wanting to visit Skye.

“Cosy cottage picturesque perfection”
Reviewed October 9, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

A beautiful cottage with stunning view across the bay. Very clean and well appointed with ample space to enjoy a relaxing stay. Dog friendly with enclosed garden. Owners very friendly, helpful but not instrusive. Spent many a happy hour in the sun room enjoying watching the seals and seabirds when the weather was too inclement to venture out. All in all a superb cottage and location which we would have no hesitation in using again if we return to Skye.
