I arrived at Isle of Skye with no accomodation and found this amazing B&B (actually via another B&B which was full) which has an amazing view across the water/sea. Elaine was an amazing host who gave me tons of travel (regarding Skye as well as the Highlands) and was so friendly. She even came and gave me help when I got into some trouble on the road. The room was a comfortable single room (30 pounds per night) with a spacious bathroom just next door. The breakfast was extremely varied, ranging from fruits, cereal, salad, scrambled eggs, toast+spreads, cheese and a few slices of ham/salami. I loved the selection and felt bad only being able to eat a tiny amount but it may not appeal to those that love their sausages/bacon in the morning (though I'm sure she'd cater to your breakfast needs). It's also only about 10 minutes walk from the town centre where there's many places to eat. I can't believe I didn't know about it when doing my research on tripadvisor so I'm giving it good review to boost it's rating!
