What a fantastic find! Nestled away just behind the Cuillin Hills Hotel, about 10-15 minute walk from Portree main square, this lovely B&B was an ideal home for our 3 night stay in Skye in October 2012. We stayed in room 1- triple room (double bed & single bed) and with large en suite bathroom (large shower, toilet, sink). The room was immaculate and was cleaned each day. We were also provided with a kettle, tea/coffee, bottle openers, hairdryer, clean towels and toiletries were available. Breakfast was in the form of a cold buffet- perhaps my only criticism was that a traditional cooked breakfast was not an option- but everything provided at breakfast was lovely (cereals, croissants, jam, cooked meat, salad, fruit salad...). The breakfast room/ lounge was right next to us and Elaine (owner) made us feel very welcome and able to use the lounge whenever we wanted. Elaine was a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and was more than happy to help us plan our adventure in Skye.
I cant recommend this B&B highly enough. Stay here instead of an impersonal hotel! Any other B&B will not meet the high standards we experienced here, guaranteed!
