Unbelievable views.
For best hike, come up from Uig and at car park start in a counterclockwise hike. Best views await you at the end.
Takes about 3 hours, you can also climb up to the table, but you should know the path. Must have good shoes!
Absolutely an incredible day

This was top of our list of things to do on our holiday in Skye, having read about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. A pretty long walk, some of it uphill so fairly strenuous, but so worth it. We had perfect weather which added to the enjoyment. The views and scenery are absolutely amazing and photos just don't do it justice, you have to see it for yourself. We are planning another visit to Skye in the future and hope to explore two particular places on the Quiraing which we didn't this time - features called 'The Table' and 'The Prison'. An absolute 'must do' if you are in Skye.

The Quiraing is a collection of jagged hills, cliffs, and pinnacles set on the northern end of the Trotternish peninsula on Skye.
You can choose to see it on foot via a number of walks of varying length and difficulty. The Walk Highlands website (http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/skye/) has excellent descriptions of the walks, including maps, pictures, ratings, GPS coordinates, and more. The website authors have also published a book that describes the more popular walks on Skye, well worth investing in, if you plan on taking any of the walks on Skye, called "Skye: 40 Coast and Country Walks."
Or, you can get a close, high view via the excellent drive between Staffin and Uig, by taking the road which goes up and over the middle of the Trotternish peninsula, cutting right through the Quiraing. There are places to pull over and park along this road so that you can get out and experience the landscape, with great views all the way to the coastline. Be aware that the road is single-track, and there are, of course, some sheep along the way.
Food tip in Uig: if you want to carry a lunch along for a picnic, the Uig Cafe & Takeaway (look for the big blue-and-white sign next to the filling station near the dock) has some excellent ready-made sandwiches and baked goods. Their coffee and tea is also good--a nice spot to stop for a quick afternoon tea-time snack.

This is a must see. The drive up was scary at times with tight hair pin bends, but when you get to the top, well, the view just took my breath away. The landscape there is unlike anything else I saw on Skye. Go, you'll not be disappointed. Just make sure there's no low cloud obviously.

Amazing views to be had. Leave plenty of time and get out of the car. Views from further up the hill fantastic. Do not forget your camera
