Comfortable room, nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order from a list provided. Well organized breakfast room with a beautiful backyard view. Short walk to restaurants and most important being there felt like home.

Room tip: We slept great during our stay.

It is a small house ( bed & breakfast ) with very comfortable rooms. Extremely clean.
The breakfast is very good . It is made to order ( don´t forget to fill the form the evening before) and they don´t bring the hot meals ( like the Prince Bonnie dish - salmon + eggs) until your are at the breakfast room .
Advice: 1) Take out our shoes at the hall when you arrived. You must walk inside the house on your socks or your slippers
2) The nearer restaurant ( Saucy Mary) is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the house.

We asked for a B&B while on our Rabbie's Tour. Rabbie's booked this place for my friend and me for two of our nights on the tour. This place is beautifully decorated in rich hues and Scottish accents. The place was squeaky clean and had gorgeous views of Skye and the town of Kyleakin. The hostess was friendly and personable. This place is a short 5-10 minute walk into Kyleakin and a 5 minute walk to the top of the Skye bridge for watching the sunset.

Very modern amenities:

Touch and sensor lights
Towel warming rack
Down duvet

First things first: this place is lovely. Really well appointed, best so far this week. Very swish en suite. Room a little small but cosy. Staff are very welcoming and helpful and know how to look after you. Great view from the patio as well.
So why doesn't it get 5*? Two reasons: the bed was too small for me (and I'm hardly a giant at 6 foot) and it was easily the most expensive place on our trip. Having said that, everywhere else we looked in the area was extortionate, so pay the bit extra and have a wonderful stay.

Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us at Mo Dhachaidh.
The bed is a standard sized British Double which you will find in most other guest houses & hotels. Unfortunately the cost of living here in Skye can be slightly higher than elsewhere, especially with the cost of stores in the local supermarkets. We use the very best quality of products, from the complimentary toiletries provided to the world famous stornoway black pudding for breakfast. We have to charge a fair price to cover costs.

Jane is a wonderful host....provided good room, good breakfasts, and information about local sites. The Broch at Glenelg was particularly fascinating ... helpful with item we'd forgotten (bottle opener ). Would definitely stay there again.
