We are a family from Bermuda who travelled Scotland for two weeks this past July. Mo Dhachaidh was by far our favourite place to stay whilst on our holiday. Greta and her daughter and son-in-law 'to be' couldn't have been more welcoming, kind or helpful. The rooms are spacious and so beautifully decorated. Everything is scrupulously clean. You can tell that the Sheedy's take great pride in their home and business. The breakfasts were wonderful and the information given to us about Skye, where to go and what to see was invaluable! When planning our trip, we initially thought that we wanted to stay in Portree but were unable to find available accommodation - well this worked just perfectly and in fact, when we visited Portree we were happy that we ended up staying in Kyleakin with the Sheedy's. We can't recommend Mo Dhachaidh highly enough and would definitely stay again. Thank you so much Greta and family!!

We're a spanish familiy that travelled Scotland for two weeks. Apartments, small hotels and Inns and B&B's have been our places to stay. Definitely the best was Mo Dhachaidh. Greta and her son provided us with all the necessary, house was very comfortable, room very clean, high-class bathroom, great views from our room, traditional and plenty cooked scottish breakfast, hints to visit the beautiful Skye Island... Sincerely a place to strongly recommend.

Pamies Family.

Room Tip: Room #2 has a great view.

Our stay at Mo Dhachaidh Bed & Breakfast was wonderful, Greta, Andrew and Jeanette make you feel so at home and so well taken care of. The rooms are excellent, shower great. Breakfast very, very good but what makes it all so special is the Sheedy family. We were so well cared for! We had experienced some trouble with our rental car (flat tyre) and they did not quit until they had resolved our issue with the rental company and a local garage. They truly were wonderful! If you choose this inn, you will live it! Don't miss a visit to the Fairy pools! Just lovely!

Room Tip: We stayed in room one...lovely view!

What a lovely stay we had at Mo Dhachaidh. The rooms were super comfortable and tastefully appointed, the bathrooms amazing, and breakfast delicious, but what really made our stay, was the warmth and hospitality of Greta and her family. They were very helpful in suggesting itineraries and paths of travel, places to eat, etc. If you book the family room, you will have the most amazing view of the bay and a ruined castle. I wasn't feeling well the morning of our departure, and they offered to let me stay as long as I needed, run to the pharmacy, anything to help me feel better - so very thoughtful and comforting. If we are ever back on Skye, this will be our choice location to stay.

Room Tip: The family room (non apartment) has fabulous views, although everyone has the same view if using the shared guest lounge.

We arrived at the guesthouse to be greeted by Greta, the owner of the B and B. She was great. An absolute first class host who really took care of us. We hadn't researched Skye much before we got there and so got the train. Upon arrival though it seemed that hiring a car is an absolute must if you are to make the most of your stay on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Greta sorted this all out for us and even negotiated prices with the hire car company. She also recommended and booked us a boat trip with Misty Isles. This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Thanks Greta. As for the b and b itself it was lovely, our room was of a very high standard with great views. The breakfasts are also fantastic and really set you up for a day of exploring. Overall this is a brilliant family run b and b and we would highly recommend that you stay there.
