“A great base location for touring Skye.”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

This may have been the nicest B&B at which we stayed. The room (and the others we saw) was furnished very nicely with a great en suite bathroom. Everything seemed new and of course clean. Greta was very helpful to us in planning our trip around Skye and for dinner suggestions near the B&B. We would certainly stay again.

The B & B is easy to find well located giving you good options to explore the island or the mainland. Greta and family are welcoming giving good advice on the areas of the island. The room standard was excellent wonderfully clean, decorated to a high standard. The bathroom again fab new fixtures and fittings. Good selection at breakfast and a great view from the bedroom. Well done you do not disappoint.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this delightful B&B. The location was perfect for a tiny taste of the beautiful Isle of Skye, close to its entrance after a rather harrowing drive past gorgeous Loch Lomond and through wild mountains on terrifyingly narrow, windy, steep roads. The whole B & B was hand-built by Mr. Sheedy with consumate craftsmanship, matched by the perfect taste shown by Greta in its decoration. Our two breakfasts were superb. We got good hints for our lone day of visiting the island, and enjoyed our conversations with our hostess and her husband. There were very interesting historical memoirs in the guest lounge.

Room Tip: Our room, the breakfast and guest lounge all faced the view of the tidal plain, the more distant sou...

We stayed in the family room for a few days at Easter and everything was perfect. The room is big lovely, very comfortable and well decorated and the view is amazing. But more important, our hostess and her daughter were very welcoming (and very helpful, thanks to them we found the Fairy pool!). It was a pleasure to talk with them at breakfast (which was excellent, by the way). We definitely recommend it, and we hope to go back soon! It is probably one of the best guesthouse I've ever been."Merci" for this wonderful stay!

My wife and I stayed at Mo Dhachaidh in April 2013 along with my parents. One room had a double bed; the other had two singles, both were en suite. Excellent accommodations and wonderful breakfast with several options to choose from. Hostess Greta was, welcoming, warm, and happy to answer our questions. Would definitely stay there again.
