We stayed for now the third time in this B and B in Isle of Skye. The owners really do make the place and are excellent hosts. I cant fault the place.. it is very good value for money and an excellent place to act as base for a tour of Skye. I would stay again if I get the chance!!

Stayed here for 2 nights (wished we could have stayed longer). Harbour view room just stunning even in the rain. Everything spotlessly clean and the breakfast was well cooked and lots of other choices - cereal, fruit etc. Would not stay anywhere else when visiting Skye. Reasonably priced too.

nothing to fault. Rooms spotlessly clean - the owner was very welcoming but very discrete . enjoyed a good natter over breakfast. worth staying for a few relaxing days whilst enjoying skye and the surrounding area

Room Tip: rooms are quite small - ask for the largest

We stayed here for a couple of days, and had a fabulous view over the harbour. Unfortunately our room was tiny, and very old fashioned, with a shower crammed into a tiny bathroom. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special as far as we were concerned. The owner, Gillian was very nice. For a couple of nights the hotel was fine for the money, but if you want modern, in our experience, don't stay here.

Spent 3 nights here as a base for exploring Skye via car. Clean, bright room overlooking the small harbour and the castle ruins across the water. Gillian and Craig put on a fantastic breakfast with everything you would ever dream of for your meal, all while sitting in the dining room overlooking the harbour. Great to have a washer/dryer to use for the traveller....plus kitchenette with fridge, microwave etc......and 2 lounges to relax in. After a full day of exploring we enjoyed the local restaurants and bars. Great soups and sandwiches at Harry's which is only few buildings away. Had a great Saturday night at Saucy Mary's...good food, reasonably priced drinks, lively patrons and entertainment.
Hostess and host were very friendly, knowledgeable about Skye and really made us fel at home.

We stopped here for one night and had a family room. The room was beautiful, a good sized room with two single beds and one (very comfy) double bed.
The room and its ensuite were spotless, well decorated with room to move and a tv and DVD player.
The hotel boasts free WiFi and an Apple computer for guests to use. there are dvds and tous to borrow and plenty of free sweets on offer.
Breakfast was gorgeous. The owners are so thoughtful they even supplied miniature stainless steel cutlery for my four old to use which he loved.
The hotel has off road parking.
The location is quiet and right on the harbour as well as near to the bridge to the mainland and Plockton ( a great place to visit).
I really enjoyed my stay here, the owner was so friendly and helpful, she corresponded with us prior to our visit recommending boat trips and places to visit.
I would definitely use again as this side of Skye is so much more friendly and relaxed than Portree.

This is a charming B&B right on the seafront with stunning views across the bay to the little ruined castle beyond. Its unassuming exterior belies an absolute treasure-trove within, run with cheerful precision by the very capable Gillian & her team. Everything runs like clockwork here, from the quick & friendly check-in to the presentation & service of the sumptuous breakfast in the pretty dining room. Our room was super-clean with an excellent bathroom & really comfy beds. Gillian has ensured the needs of even the most demanding traveller are met, providing a comfortable & well-appointed guest sitting room, a kitchen, a laundry & a study equipped with a decent internet-connected computer. For those travelling with smartphones, tablets & laptops, free wifi is available throughout the property. Gillian is constantly on hand to offer advice & assistance & seems to know pretty much everything! We asked her for a restaurant recommendation & not only did she provide detailed information of several possibles but, once we had made our choice, telephoned on our behalf to make the reservation. For the record, we ate at Red Skye – the freshest, plumpest & tastiest scallops I have ever eaten & well worth a separate review. I'll be visiting Skye again next year &, now I've found & sampled Gillian's truly excellent & particular brand of hospitality, won't be looking for anywhere else to stay while in the southern part of the island.
