We stopped late in the afternoon seeking refuge from soggy van parks for a night out of our camper and discovered this wonderful, friendly B&B. Sam was very welcoming and the room we stayed in was immaculate, complete with very well appointed ensuite, very comfortable bed, well furnished with everything you could wish for. Breakfast was a big Scottish breakfast of juice, cereal, eggs and bacon, toast, tea and coffee. Certainly great value for money.

A beautiful B&B ,spotlessly clean and very well appointed. A very warm welcome from Sam and equally warm from Fay at breakfast. The quality of the furnishings and bathroom fittings is better than most hotels, and the view at breakfast just makes the stay complete. A very happy surprise for us as we had not booked, but we will be back one day.

If you stay in the south area of Skye, you dont need an expansiv hotel or guest house.
Ceol-na-Mara, music of the sea with a beautiful view over the canal to Kyle of Lochalsh is the best alternative to combine very good quality, service and price.
This B&B was so nice and beautiful that we decided to stay longer then planed.
At the garden in front, in the rooms, on the window ledges, the hole B&B was filled with miniatures and other little things.
All rooms were very clean and nicely doned up,hair dryer, coffee machine and a bowl of chocolates and toffees was included.
Sam & Fay put so much love in this house to create an special atmosphere in which one just has to feel confortable.
We had an exquisite full scottish breakfast, but you can get everthing what you want. Sam had a long list with delicious food and beverages, to order your individual breakfast for a perfect start in the day.
Thank you so much for a great time in your ,,Castle'', we will come back if we stay the next time in scotland, especially on Skye.
Greatings from Heike & Bernd, with the big blue Yamaha from Germany.

Ceol na Mara was not a choice but selected by Highland Experience’ tour guys during our 3 day tour of the highland and were we thankful. We reached Kyleakin after a full day drive and it was freezing. It was love at first site … especially for our 5 year old. The whole B&B place is filled with miniatures of all types of animals, fairy tale characters and name it … right from the garden in front to every room, every nook & corner. It is beautiful and a bow to Sam & Fay for their life time collection that they have displayed for all to enjoy. A walk up a narrow staircase – very difficult with a large suitcase, you reach a small but warm & inviting room overlooking the canal in front. The décor is right out of a fairy tale or children’s room but we were not complaining. A small en suite bathroom and a bowl of chocolates next to the coffee machine was just perfect.

This is definitely the best B&B place we have lived in and a fond memory of our trip. What made a difference is the attention to small details, in the room, in the whole house, especially the breakfast area. A small room surrounded by miniatures again … perfectly laid out tables with hot breakfast ready just as you wanted… served warmly, with a smile by Fay. We had a full Scottish breakfast and were not disappointed.

The location is also as good as it can get at Kyleakin … near the most (and only) happening pub - Saucy Mary’s - where we had a lovely group dinner & drinks (would recommend their Red & Black Cuillins). A good place to take a walk if the weather is good … go near the portside and walk to the small tower during low tide. Thanks Sam & Fay for a memorable stay

This is one of the best BnB I have ever been to. It's cleaner than some of the top 5 star hotels. Sam and Fay are perfect, warm hearted hosts. The place is so beautiful, you will fall in love with it. Hats off to this couple who made my trip really memorable.

It started well with a (gratefully accepted) offer to pick us up off the train at Kyle. We then found a splendid, quiet location overlooking the harbour - but close to the bus stop - parking if you need it, a comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, sitting room, fine breakfast. What more do you need in a B&B

Room Tip: Just ask for what you want. Not all rooms are en-suite.
