We stayed at Six Willows for two nights, in the Red Room. Upon arriving, I noticed a damp, musty smell to the room, but this dissipated as it warmed up and was aired out. Bed was comfy and cozy. Alex was a terrific host. The vegetarian breakfasts were a smorgasbord of fruit, cereal, cheese and breads of all types. YUM. Alex answered all our questions, gave advice of places to see, and let us know of a wonderful light house only five miles from Dunvegan. Although it is off the beaten path, stop in and stay at Six Willows. You won't regret it.

This small 2 bedroom b&b was a haven. The first thing that I loved was there was no TV. There was though, super-fast free WiFi which for the outskirts of Skye was very impressive! Ocean and Scotty are a lovely couple who take care that you are comfortable without being intrusive. We were advised about the best places to go for photographs. We followed Ocean's advise and went to visit Neist Point Lighthouse which, we were so glad we did as when we were there, a basking shark put in an appearance.
I just have to mention the breakfasts. Out of this world. Bowls of beautifully presented fresh fruit salad (Scotty apparently is the 'fruit artist'), juices, cereals, fresh breads, homemade preserves, yoghurts, cheeses all lovely quality and this is only the start. If you had any room for more after all this, there is a vegetarian cooked breakfast available - or just eggs done any way.
During our stay, I indulged myself in one of Oceans' fabulous massages. I was more than impressed that she picked up on some health issues as if by magic. She recommended follow up therapy for me which was gratefully received. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone. This lady knows her stuff. I wished we could have stayed longer. I would return there in a heartbeat.

A pleasant enough cottage, but somewhat rustic in comparison to expectations for bed and breakfast accommodations. Breakfast was nice and the couple are helpful and pleasant.

If you are looking to stay in the middle of seemingly nowhere at a peaceful B&B, this is your place. Ocean and Scotty were perfect hosts who seem genuinely interested in their guests and were happy to give recommendations and share fun stories. We stayed in the red room, which is very nice with a SUPER comfortable bed and nice decor. Guests should note that there is no cable for your room tv (but you can watch any of the movies they own). They also have music, games, or books at your disposal. Plan to relax when you are here. We tried Ocean's soup and "rainbow salad" with dips and it was all fantastic - a great vegetarian break from all the hearty Scottish food. :) It's a TON of food though so maybe ask for one serving to share between two people.

The highlight of our stay was the lighthouse on Neist Point. Ocean and Scotty recommended that we walk out past the lighthouse and out onto the rocks to watch for ocean life (kids should be a little careful here). We arrived around 9:00, shortly before sunset and were thrilled to find a couple Minke Whales circling the area and several gannet birds dive bombing into the water for fish. We stayed for about 1.5 hours and would have stayed longer if it the light allowed it.

We would definitely recommend this B&B plus an evening on Neist Point for any trip to the Isle of Skye - it was one of the highlights of our trip!

Room Tip: The Red Room has a connected bathroom

Spent two nights in a charming B&B with magical scenery as experienced from the Blue Room. There are two rooms available (Blue Room and Red Room). It was peaceful and relaxing while also being close enough to visit the lighthouse, the coral beach, the land of fairies and many other sites. Our host and hostess were pleasant, cheerful people and offered vegetarian meals. The breakfast is filing and nourishing . . . the best way to start your day. The first night we arrived after dinner was finished, but we were graciously offered homemade vegetarian lentel and vegetable soup with bread and butter to warm our stomachs and souls. Highly recommend their accommodations if you are looking for home comfort, soft bed, and good food. There is also a meditation room which can be used as a quiet place to reflect. You won't be disappointed. Thank you again Ocean and Scotty!

Room Tip: Two rooms available. Blue room has a double and one single bed to sleep three people. Great room f...

This place itself is not fancy; in fact, it's kind of dated. But that won't matter when you have the amazing, generous breakfast. It's vegetarian, and I am not, but that's of no consequence. The food was amazing, the fruit so fresh, the jam new, and all wonderful.

The best thing was that Ocean (the hostess) took a lot of time to explain ALL the things to do on Skye. This was our first morning, and we took all her suggestions over the next three days, and I can say with no reservation that without these, we would have missed so much. The lighthouse, the shoal beach, and many others. Thank you to these wonderful people, and GO GO GO you future travelers.
