This really is an idylic campsite with exceptional views. From the moment we met Colin the camp site warden we fell in love with Kincloch. Colin could not do enough for you and even gave us some ties to fix our heater pipe on the van he also has a great sense of humour. Most of the pitches have a view down the loch and across to the McCloud hills. Showers and facilities are first class. Would definatley visit again.

We stayed for two nights and, found the facilities excellent. Very clean, and, good choice of places for our campervan. There were tents that somehow managed to stay grounded despite the wind and, rain one night.
Great location with great views.Walking distance to shops etc.Friendly, helpful owner.
Downside,no walking area for our dogs and,no access to beach to let them run. No midges thank goodness.

We arrived late July 2012 - 6 of us on motorcycles. We were made to feel really welcome.....the manager even noticed that some of us had visited 6 years earlier and asked us where we had been!!

The campsite is quiet, the location is amazing - so lovely to open your tent in the morning to the fantastic view! The town is small but big enough to support a great night out. I'd recommend the cellar bar at the Dunvegan Hotel - great jukebox and really friendly people. There is also a small bakery/cafe within walking distance that makes for a great breakfast if you don't fancy cooking.

Good facilities on site mean that you can catch up on you washing, great roads mean that this is perfect biking country... Portree is nice for an afternoon ride out but this is a much nicer place to stay.

Applecross is a great ride out too. We will certainly be back.

Along with other reviewers I would agree the location was excellent and facilities were very good & clean but if you get a pitch in the middle it is like being in a car park with nowhere to sit out comfortably.
The big off put was people smoking in the reception area.

we stayed at this campsite on the 20.09.2012 and it is a fantastic place, a warm friendly welcome, spotless toilets and showers (always a bonus) and a wonderful view of the loch highly recommended. We have just purchased our motorhome so will be earmarking this campsite for future visits.

Stayed for 1 night whilst touring within a motorcycle group.
thank you for the stay and my apologies to all the fellow campers if we caused any inconvenience with our over indulgence and associated noise that night.
Would highly recommend this site, thank you again.

Just back from a perfect week on Kinloch campsite and can't wait to go back!! Fantastic scenery, lovely folk on the site and very helpful. Great facilities, fab hot showers and within walking distance of local shops and pubs. Lots to see and many fab photo opportunities from the site, the views are breathtaking at times.

Only possible bad thing........midges!!! Evil fly like blighters, but plenty bug repellant and you're grand.

We absolutely loved the site, as did the dog and will be booking another break ASAP!!
