Went for a meal with friends to the Spinnaker restaurant, food was great, the peppercorn sauce has to be the best I've ever had, and although there was a small problem with one steak it was quickly rectified with a completely new plate of food. The wait-, sorry, maître d' was friendly, funny and very helpful. Thank you for putting up with us as well!

Thank you very much for your lovely review and I totally agree with you about Gail's peppercorn sauce. How on earth does she do it? Very glad you were happy.

Excellent value restaurant, we have just returned from dining in the restaurant at the
Broadford Hotel and we could not fault our meal. The crab and scallop linguini being worthy of a special mention, no skimping on the seafood in the dish, the wine list is extremely good value and the do finish off the evening with a Drambuie, Thanks to Tom and Susan, for the service they provided, hope your employers realise your worth.

We stayed at the Broadford for the 3rd time and found it still to be warm and friendly. Even when we haven't been able to get a room and stayed elsewhere we've called in to the bar where the locals always remember us which is nice considering we are scots living in Yorkshire. We had room 33 which is split level and huge and Gail's food is always of a high standard,Tom was also friendly and helpful despite being in pain from burnt fingers!! We like good standards without a place being overly pretentious and the Broadford offers this.

We stayed for one night during our Scotland road trip. We are big fans of Drambuie and chose this hotel as it is where in was invented! We have 2 kids (9 & 13) and booked a family room. We were very impressed by ours, room 27 I think, king size bed for us with a lovely bathroom and a separate bedroom for the kids, which had a double sofa bed. I had booked a separate fold away bed for our 9 year old son as our daughter does not appreciate sharing, but it wasn't to be seen. Upon informing reception, a lovely young lady immediately appeared with one and promptly made it up. Sorted. We ate in the restaurant choosing from the pub/bar menu. The food was very good and afterwards we went for a quick walk to the harbour. The view is so beautiful. We all had a good sleep in the clean comfy beds (after consuming a little Drambuie of course!). Breakfast was really good. All in all an excellent hotel, good value for money with excellent staff.

Stayed here for two nights while we explored Skye. We had room 27 which was a great size for us as a family of 4 as it had two separate rooms, a double bed for mum and dad and a sofa bed for the kids. Check out the salmon and creamy scrambled eggs for breakfast. Good for dinner too. The hotel has a lot of history and was where the liqueur Drambuie was created and originally made. Good place to act as a base in Skye. 30 minute drive to the Talisker Distillery and about the same to Portree where the sister hotel, the Bosville, is which has a nice bar and some good beers.

Myself and my fiance chose here to hold our wedding reception, after being married at Armadale Castle (Clan Donald Centre) in May 2013, and really couldn't have chosen better.

Kevin, the Hotel Manager, along with Chef Gail and the rest of the staff (who really are a credit to them), ensured that our big day ran like clockwork throughout - so much so that we didn't have to worry about a thing - everything was done for us. Kevin was happy to liaise with the other suppliers for us (although Highland hospitality being the way it is, you'd expect nothing else!) to ensure everything ran smoothly in preparing for the day. The day itself was amazing - the food was to die for, and the bar service was handled brilliantly both in the main reception room, and the public bar itself - even though we had 120+ thirsty guests, no one waited long at all to be served.

We'd booked out the entire hotel for the wedding party, and every one of our guests raved about the standard of accommodation - rooms were spacious and decorated to high standard, with plush modern Scottish furnishings making this truly a 4 star hotel. We ate in both the restaurant and the bar throughout the course of the weekend, and food was gorgeous in both. What really does set the Broadford Hotel apart though is the level of service received from the hotel throughout the stay. Nothing was too much hassle, and the friendly and helpful attitude of all staff was a pleasure to experience.

In summary, for the biggest day of our life not only were myself and my new husband treated like absolute royalty, but my guests were too!!! A huge thank you to the Broadford Hotel - we'll be back the next time we are visiting, and certainly for our anniversary.

If you are thinking about staying here you will not be disappointed - even if it's not a special occasion, rest assured that you will certainly be treated as if it is!

Room Tip: They are all amazing - we booked the entire hotel for the wedding party, and not a bad word could be...

We have just spent 2 nights at the Broadford! Our room was all we could ask for in a hotel of this rating, light, airy, roomy and spotless with good linens! The lobby and lounge sadly is a little soulless and dark in its decor but made up for by the really friendly staff, especially Michelle and Laura!
We would definitely return!
