We have eaten at the Hebridean Hotel many times and have never been disappointed. The food is good quality reasonably priced pub grub. The fish and chips are great value and the spicy chicken has just enough bite not to drown the flavour.

There is always a good changeover of real ales. One or two on tap and the ale is of a very good quality (from a seasoned ale drinker). And at £3.10 a pint it must be the best value on Skye.

six of us stayed at the hebridean hotel this week.i thought it was a little overpriced for the room which although clean i thought was in need of up dating.the shower had a mind of its own.on the other hand garry and heather the hosts were helpful and friendly.we ate in the restaurant at night and found the food to be of a high standard.I would stay there again.O and the full English breakfast was also excellent.

After a day on the road we just wanted to stop and not having to go out again. Under new management we felt so welcome as they organised several rooms for us and our friends. Secure parking and well ventilated rooms. One of the best bars we saw on our travels and the boys were impressed with the Bundaberg Rum! We dined for dinner and breakfast and left feeling very refreshed.

Three of us were staying at the B & B next door for four nights and ate at this hotel for three nights.

First of all we were relieved that the prices were lower than some places we had eaten on Skye. The food was very tasty and the helpings huge and the home-smoked salmon is absolutely delicious!

The staff were busy nearly all the time but found time to ask about our day and the walks we had had. Service tended to be on the slow side. One night we waited a long time time for our soup, it was cold when it arrived but was quickly heated up and re-served with apologies. The other two nights we had no problems. The atmosphere was relaxed and informal and we felt quite at home chatting to other guests.

We stayed two nights at the Hebridean Hotel in June 2013. The rooms were kind of small, but everything else was really nice. The owners, Jeff and Vanessa, were so welcoming and so helpful. I mean really helpful. The place is very clean and has plenty of parking. We ate our meals there and spent some time with the locals in the bar. One night, there was a trivia contest that was a lot of fun. We are not hikers or outdoor enthusiasts, so there wasn't much in the area to keep us entertained. It was great to have the hotel bar and the welcoming locals to hang out with. The Hebridean is a cozy place, it's almost like staying at a friend's house.

Room Tip: There is no elevator. Pack lightly if you carry your own bags. All rooms have a great view of the w...

We stopped for a meal here on our last night on Skye, wish we had tried it earlier in our stay. The staff and owner were very attentive and friendly, excellent service, the food was delicious, very reasonable priced, good choice on menu, views across the bay , enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere . This is a new venture for the owners , being there first season, if they keep this standard up, it will be a very popular hotel. Wish them every success. Lovely people.

Passing through the area it was recommended that we should stop for dinner here. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant,The food, drinks and service was excellent and very reasonably priced. The location is just a few miles after crossing the Skye bridge and with plenty of parking space it was an enjoyable meal stop on the way to exploring the rest of the Island.
