Ate hear on Thursday 9th August 2012, staff are very friendly, restuarant is very comfortable, most importantly though the food was fantastic, I had the hot seafood cocktail and was delious, my partner had the special of tapas and enjoyed, mains I had the salmon which was cooked prefectly and the roasted veg was very tasty, my partner had the venison meatballs and said it was the best ever. Good choice on the menu and nice selection of wines. Well done! during busy season I recommend you MUST book, the owner had to turn away a lot of business when we were there as they hadn't booked...shame!

“Great Food”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

Arriving a little after 6pm for dinner we were a little worried about the lack of customers but shouldn't have. By 7pm the place was certainly filling up and when our food arrived it was clear to see why.

We both started with the Tapas special which was well presented and was delicious. I then followed with the Chicken special which was fantastic while my fiance had the steak which was also very nice. I ended with the apple tartin which had too much honey for my taste but a clean plate was still left! My fiance had panacotta which was also great.

Overall a very nice meal which was value for money. Our only criticism is perhaps another waitress is needed. We waited a little while for our bill as the restaurant got busier.

“Best coffee in Scotland, perhaps...?”
Reviewed July 8, 2012 via mobile

We chanced upon this place and popped in for coffee. Menu looked so appealing decided to have early lunch. Great bread (so rare in Scotland's eating places), lovely Greek salad & roast potato, and fab mushroom soup. But best of all an amazing cup of Fairtrade coffee that was rich & smooth. We'll definitely be back - the evening menu looked great!

“Fantastic food & Service”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

As Pie-in-the-Skye eloquently wrote below (I too was one of the same party of five) - The food was refreshingly different, well presented and mouth watering. It was so refreshing to find alternative cuisine on Skye. The owners/chef were very welcoming and clearly passionate about their food and service - both of which were excellent. They were very accommodating - two of our party had several starters instead of one starter/one main. We all left full of delicious food and very happy with our dining experience. The Harbour Restaurant is a must for locals and visitors alike.
