Great to walk about and get a feel of the area prior to being let loose on the place. Interesting marine biology.

Very interesting and informative. Gives a good guide to the marine environment around Isle of Mull. A must when visiting Tobermory.

“Interesting, informative and entertaining”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

Arrived just in time for one of the talks on marine life. Hard to say whether the adults or kids were more captivated by it - but the lass presenting it was entertaining and very knowledgeable, and kept the children amused with a collection of crabs, starfish and other marine life (which apparently get returned to the sea again after a day or two as replacements are brought in by the local fishermen).

Plenty of other exhibits there too, and interesting facts on ecology and conservation. With the talk I'd say it would be possible to spend an hour here and perhaps stretch it out on a rainy day.

There's parking outside and it's next door to MacGochans bar - which is child friendly and serves standard bar food at reasonable prices.

We learned a lot about sea life, fishing and sea rescue during our visit.

Children shoul love the place and the small aquariums too.

Nice staff.

Free entrance, the place is worth a couple of £.
