Really great trip with Sea Life Surveys! We saw just about everything on my list (Basking sharks, Minke Whales, Dolphins (around the boat!), the list goes on....! The guides were very knowledgable and happy to share their knowledge. The captain was very good and clearly knew the area well.

Only one criticism is that as a sailer of many (too many) years I dont understand why these boat trips dont give passengers lifejackets as standard. Pretty much everybody these days that sails on the UK coast wears a gas lifejacket regardless of sea state!

“What a day!!”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

We booked the 7hr whale watching trip before we went to Mull. They also do shorter trips but we thought we would see more the longer we were out on the boat. It was a bit expensive at £80 per person but well worth it. The guides were very knowledgeable about the animals and birds. The day was lovely and warm, the sea was very calm and the day passed very quickly. We saw minke whales and basking sharks from a distance, but the dolphins swam along side the boat as we sailed which was great. We also saw porpoise, seals and loads of different sea birds. I would totally recommend this trip but be aware you might see nothing, we were very lucky we had a clear day.

“Great wildlife spotting.”
Reviewed August 3, 2012 via mobile

We had a wonderful trip with sea life survey's! We went on the 2 hour ecocruz and wish we had gone for longer. We saw porpoise, white tailed eagles, seals and numerous interesting sea birds.
Tea and coffee was available on board.
If you get cold onboard they also have big coats to keep you warm.

“Brilliant experience!”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

This is a MUST if you are visiting Mull. The crew and guides are all enthusiastic and full of knowledge. Everyone will enjoy the day, great to see the wildlife - especially when it is Whales and Sharks! Brilliant for wildlife lovers too! We were priviledged enought to see more than 13 Basking Sharks in one afternoon, along with Common Dolphin and Minke Whale. The boat is friendly and welcoming, with a great atmosphere. Tea and coffee were given out and everyone enjoyed the day. The stop for lunch was another highlight - amazing scenary and close encounters with Grey Seals. Could not ask for anything more. I will definately be going again!

“Whale Watching”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

7 hours of pure bliss, well worth the money, the amount of marine wildlife out on Mull was mind blowing, and sightings like these would never have been possible if not for the trips ran by Sealife Surveys. The boat boasts an outstanding crew who are more than happy to help anyone, with great advice and information on the wildlife out there. the team is also great at sighting wildlife giving guests great and ample opportunitys to witness such spectaculars of the seas! Would recommend this trip to everyone.
